damn..shut up...both sports take training and dedication..there are some ignorant posters here.i enjoy both sports Was or wasn't this fight created as 'Boxing vs MMA.' Just read some of these headlines about this fight. Boxing got the short end of the stick and awful representation tonight. It's kind of a cheap shot at the sport, especially when the MMA guy's know they can't get in the ring. And no one said anything about the training or dedication needed. I enjoy both sports, I just like Boxing more.

But the thought of them actually referring to this particular fight in the future like it means something is like having your nails pulled out one by one lol. It's a loathing thought to say the least. Just link this video to them.

MMA and Boxing are 2 completely different sports.

Actually MMA is a great avenue for wrestlers to compete after their collegiate careers, so naturally their boxing is not the best.

Absolutely. MMA and BOXING are two different sports altogether and that showed tonight. Toney is an absolute reward for thinking just going in there with boxing skills was going to win him the match tonight. It was a pathetic performance by the legend James Toney. However, there really isn't nothing to ashamed of tonight as Boxing is nothing alike MMA.

Anyone can practice BJJ and be efficient at it. Not everyone can Box. Just so we're clear. In James Toney's case, it is where you go when you do a terrible job of managing your money, desperately need money and can't make enough in boxing because of stupid decisions and bad habits.

Actually these two sports don't need to be compared at all. It is possible to enjoy both!
