But when has an MMA fighter EVER tried boxing?!
Anderson Silva WANTED too but Dana White won't even let him. (Not to mention he looks awful in sparring and in his early pro fights)
And we got guys in MMA saying at least James Toney had the balls to get into the Cage and that No other boxer had the balls...
Well what MMAist in the modern Era has never made the switch... the same can be said about them.
FACT: COUTURE would NEVER EVER EVER EVER step into a Boxing Ring with James Toney. And Yet he was saying the very things I said above. A little Hypocritical, no?
End of the story. I give James Toney a lot of props for getting out there and trying something like this in the name of boxing (and probably a paycheck too.)
Toney was the one who opened his mouth and talked **** about MMA fighters, when was the last time you heard of an MMA fighter talking **** about how he'd KO a boxer in a boxing match?
Lmao, becuz they know what's up. They know they couldn't on their best day beat a boxer in a boxing match.
Let's take into mind James Toney considers himself THE greatest boxer of all time, which is just a reflection of his personality. Think NICK DIAZ. That guy has the personality to make the same mistake, let's see.
delahoya fought gatti
delahoya never fought forrest
hopkins fought tito.
man are you new to boxing??
you have to add corrales because chico fought castillo, floyd, casamayor, clotty, etc, etc
malignaggi fought cotto
what in gods name are you f*ckin talking about? lol
It's about brains, not balls, and nobody from the UFC is stupid enough to think they can go to a new gym for a few months and suddenly compete with the top names in a totally different sport.

well in the end it just proves boxers have far more balls than MMA fighters cus boxers are real men. MMA fighters are generation Y effeminate homos on steroids
Anderson silva's boxing record is 1-1-0
He got K.O'd badly by a nobody.
MMA fighters can't box, but they don't need elite boxing to win in MMA.
but isnt that like saying manny got ko'd by a nobody?
question: name the guy who beat hopkins in his first fight?
see?
What's the point? Randy never said he's a world class boxer. The thing you can debate and the only thing you should really is which one would be better as for self defense. That would be OBVIOUSLY, MMA.
not if the person has a knife or a gun.

Anderson Silva already has a boxing record of 1-1. He was ko'ed in the second round of his first professional fight and he is their best striker.

Nope. Boxers who are stupid enough to not take the sport they are entering seriously are bound to make like fools.
He should try baseball next because he's so strong he could hit a home run every at bat. :lame:
As far as the entire MMA vs Boxing: :gives:
Dana White always talks negatively towards boxing and has been for years
He always talks about "problems" with boxing and how UFC is taking over in terms of PPV
this is true.
