He's not very professional, always calling Mayweather and Haye duckers.
Then on the Mosley conference call he spoke to Mayweather and brown nosed, not any more. He'll never get another interview with Floyd again.
He has one of the best jobs out there and he abuses it, also his "fight freak" thing is getting lame.
Thoughts?
most of those media guys are B*TCHES, they post these articles then they kiss ass when they see those fighters in person, it is funny though when fighters actually calls them out about their articles, they usually don't have much to say about it in person
rafael needs to grab a double down sandwich and the shut the **** up
fat bastard
talking about fighters ducking but he's ducking the gym like there's no 2morrow
Exactly. Rafael calls it like it is. :fing02:
Haye IS ducking Wlad and Mayweather IS ducking Pacquiao, and it's obvious to everyone except for the GAYEST of Haye and Floyd fanboys!
exactly......
dan rafael is an ok writer. he just get under these fan's skin cause he critics their favorite fighters.
Yes dan does talk **** to the fighters then, acts like it's all good. He doesn't kiss there ass though he just acts as if nothing happen...To you guys that say he is biased towards promotions and fighters please give a example and stop talking out of your ass.

What about his constant putting down of the sport of Tennis on his Twitter page? One of the best sports in the world.
Damn man, i don't care if it sound so stupid to you but to tell you the truth i could make it sound more idiotic really and it still would hit home.
You wouldn't be quoting me if you had grown up too...just a thought.
That's the thing. You couldn't make it more idiotic if you tried.
Damn, man. Do you know how stupid you sound? You can't possibly re-read that immature nonsense and think "yeah, I really told them".
Grow up.
Lmao, Its like something a child would come up with. It's not even funny anymore to be honest, Just sad!

I don't have a problem with Rafael per se....but it just seems hypocritical to me when he wishes for an American heavyweight that's "in shape" when he himself can barely do a jumping jack.
For the flomos here, anybody who as much critic floyd is a "dumbass" who "hates" their love-one the fraud floyd.
You have to ass-lick floyd, like them, to be called objective.
I'm not surprised at all as they have brains as big as floyd's nuts.

Dan Rafael calls it like it is 90% of the time. Rafael and The Ring's Doug Fisher, along with boxingscene's Jake Donovan and Cliff Rold are the best American boxing writers.
They are more objective and less nationalistic than someone like "Arse" Iole. If a boxer is good, they will recognize him no matter whether he's American or not.
He doesn't have a stupid prejudice against East European boxers like The Ring's Eric Raskin and Bill Dettloff. While they would never write a positive word about a Klitschko performance or about someone like Pirog or Dzinziruk, Rafael is above such ignorance and gives credit where it is due. :fing02:
I like your posts, for the most part. But the problem with you is that if a writer says something, anything, negative about one of the fighters you mentioned, even ONE time, you label them. You're only happy when writers are praising the fighters you like 100% of the time.

Exactly bro.Good post
Good point mate, he acts diplomatic with the fighters then when he's behind a keyboard he's insulting. I recall him calling up the Mayweather-Mosley conference call and he was brown nosing Floyd. He will NEVER get to interview him again now.
And he is very biased.
lol. I remember that. It would be okay if he had a reason to act like that. But he doesnt, He just looks at a situation and assumes something happened that he would like to be true. Maybe he does it because he thinks it will give him and ESPN more attention but overall it just makes him look biased when the truth comes out. He acts like an "insider" but really he just believes what he wants to believe.
I get the sense he's abit dumb too. At the Mayweather-Mosley press conference he asked Floyd "Was that the most hurt you have ever been in your pro career?" and Floyd replied "No, DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley and Zab Judah hit me with a better shot than that". About 2 minutes earlier somebody else had asked Floyd the exact same question.
He's a dumb, biased pactard who says what he thinks without ever backing it up with an ounce of truth. I really dislike him. The worse thing is that he goes to the press conferences/interviews with fighters and acts neutral to fighters.
But then he gets on his high horse and starts talking **** on ESPN.
Overall he's just a biased C level journalist.

Everybody by now knows Rafael is biased and his section is nothing but his own opinion. That's why I get my boxing news here at the scene.
I dont understand how he is biased. What fighters does he favor?
