I kinda' doubt this'll happen. But if it did, and obviously Roach will be on the dudes wraps beforehand like a hawk...and it's a legitamit win...does his tainted legacy get cleaned? Does a win over Pacquiao erase the the plaster?
The fight is bogus no doubt about it. But, your post and the idea of it is bogus too.
Marg doesn't deserve the fight. But, if he wins(which I don't think he has a chance) Arum won't be that upset. He might have a WTF moment. But, lets keep it real, Pac is not undefeated, he doesn't stand behind his "0", fans don't think he is an ATG cuz he never lost. He has lost, he has lost in recent memory. But, Pac has the type of loyal fanbase that will stand behind him no matter what. He can't do no wrong in his loyal extremist fans eyes. Arum will still make money from Pac if Pac losses cuz his fans will still buy his fights. So Pac will still be the cash cow in Top Rank.
And, at the same time have Margarito back. A rematch could happen that will make Arum more money. A rematch with Cotto would be very possible and make Arum more money. Fact is if Pac wins, Arum would have 2 guys in his stable with Pac and Cotto that have loyal fan base. And, two more guys that will bring in some money with Margarito and JCC Jr. So Arum won
This fight is same as clottey. It is used to make manny look like he has more of a chance against floyd. This is a keep busy fight for manny. And, while I agree Marg/cotto 2 ia possible, there is no guarantee Cotto agrees. He has several more lucrative options, including floyd, sergios, pwill. They are all non top rank.

You sound like the trainer in Cinderella Man whose mouth should belong in a circus.
Im gonna tell yall right now, if Margarito cam deal with Pac's speed, Pac will have problems. Forget the past, and deal with the present, Pac will not just run through Margarito, and if Marg can deal and not get five rounds behind, we will get a good fight.,
I think this is a bogus fight based on how Pac clottey played out and the fact pac floyd is still makeable (according to Bob himself). I will accept any criticism you have but I feel how I feel.

And, the Floyd would still be possible and Arum would still get his. Hell even a Marg could be a possible opponent for Floyd and Arum gets his. It won't be as big but he would get his.
You know what is sad, that you really believe that.

this is irrelevant considering you proposed the idea of Mayweather calling out Pacquiao if he lost to Margarito. Stay on the topic. Pacquiao has fought more guys coming off of losses than Mayweather.
Quote me where I proposed the idea calling out Pacquiao. 1 out of two with Marg, then Pac retires, if you know how to read.
And list the opponents of Floyd and Pac coming off loses, post this list.
Corrales was also undefeated.
Then oops Pacman still fought more opponents with 0 and defeated them.
Sure it helps his legacy. It also adds validity to the argument he got caught the first time he tried cheating. It doesnt take away the fact hes a cheating P.O.S, but it shows that he is a good fighter even without plaster.
Pacquiao has beaten more boxers with 0 losses, while Floyd has only Hatton to show for it.
Disprove this fact.

Did you know of the day: Manny has fought more guys coming off losses than Floyd.

Of course, it's natural. But, as I have mentioned many times before, I was not anti-margaCHEATo until after I learned about the debacle preceeding the Mosley fight. I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, that is, I lack common sense. So, it had not occurred to me that he could have cheated against Cotto until after the fiasco before the Mosley fight. Then I, and everyone else, started wondering about how and why he defeated Cotto. It's not that Cotto is invincible, but that he should not have been beaten down so badly without taking a fall. Cotto was tortured in that ring that evening and I believe it has everything to do with those wraps; those cheating, lethal wraps.
You're right. I agree. He beat the guy to a bloody pulp. So sad watching dude get down on one knee like that. He messed up Cotto's career with those wraps. It's so apparent. He didn't even hurt the guy KO wise. I hope he get's KTFO by Pacquiao..as much as I don't like the midget either.
Depends of how it is. If he just dominates the Pacman by a beating, he would redeem himself a little bit, but if he struggles with Pac and win by a close decision (sounds impossible I know) people will say Pac was just too smallfor the weight and they will have a rematch at WW.
The wraps issue can be diminished if he wins by KO.
If this happens, there is undoubtedly a rematch clause which will make a Floyd-Pac fight more remote. Pacquiao will then win back the title then retire upon request of his mother, while Floyd continues on his useless vacation, watching his cash cow and his millions of dollars vanish in thin air.
After this, Marg will have validated a Cotto v Marg2, and Floyd will have no one else to fight but Martinez and Williams, which will generate less than what is expected with the absence of Pacman.
Manny Pacquiao will retire as a great 8th title king, he only has to beat Marg once out of two fights.

it a make the cotto fight dat much sweeter cuz dis time no more cheating
perhaps thou art a bit hurt by the whipping he put on your hero...I for one thought he shouldn't have got a license. However, I feel like, if the guy clearly beats the "fighter of the year", surely he deserves his props. I can't front on that. You shouldn't either. Sure he cheated in the past..but if that dude was to whip Pacquiao..the guy that the world loves and super hypes up as a boxing savior or what not, the guy that makes mayweather afraid..the guy that KO's big guys, the p4p king..the fighter of the...you get what i'm saying... ...I'm sorry but, with that logic..he gets my pardon.

Mayweather would challenge pacman right away for a fight if he loses to marg

One fight at a time, bro. It's a bit of a reach to even suppose that margaCHEATo can win against Pacquiao, let alone to do it in convincing enough fashion to make us think he did not cheat in his past fights. Let's see how the blackguard does in this fight and then we'll see.
I hope the cheating vermin gets knocked dizzy for a month of Sundays.
