No MMA Fighter has the balls to step in with an Elite boxer in boxing.

talks of Anderson Silva fight Roy Jones has been going on for years but Silva actually does have a Boxing background, the Brazilian fighters in the UFC and MMA in general I really have respect for them because many of them are versitile and they are not just one-dimensional wrestlers and guys who want to lay on top of people the entire fight but in saying all that it is only and handful of guys in the UFC especially that has some DECENT boxing skills: Junior Dos Santos Rampage Jackson Anderson Silva Vitor Belfort BJ Penn just to name a few, the other guys are so damn slow and wild and if they was forced to stand and fight the entire match they would in serious trouble

difference is you can take boxing skills into an mma fight and stand a chance of winning. cant take mma skills into a boxing ring and stand a chance

By the time Rampage fought Chuck, he faced much tougher opposition in Pride and had more experience than Liddell in general. He even had previous TKO victory over Liddell. Brock Lesnar would be a better example for you. He only had 3 or 4 pro fights when he beat Couture for the HW title. Yeah, going into the second Rampage/Liddell fights Liddell's record was 20-3, with one of those losses being to Rampage in a fight almost three years earlier. Rampage's record going into the fight was 26-6.

Look at that guy Rampage Jackson, didn't he have little to no experience but flattened Chuck Liddell, im not expert, but is that about right? Who is walking into the Boxing domain and doing that to one of the top guys in the sport? Well what a crap thread. I don't even like MMA but one thing you can't accuse those guys of is heart. Agree, im not a fan, but some of the beating those guys take and then pull out the win when it looks for all the world that they are done, is remarkable at times.

I've said it before and got hate from MMA fans, but my honest opinion is that most top mma fighter don't have the stamina to hang in a boxing match, they tend to be gassed 2-3 rounds into the fight, all a boxer has to do is pull them into deep waters and they'd be in deep trouble.

They're too entirely different sports. It's like saying a swimmer doesn't have the balls to compete in a triathlon.
