i just thought it would be cool to see what kind of boxing experience the boxingscene posters have.
im 0 - 1
it was for the manitoba amateur super heavyweight provincial championship (im from canada). i took the fight on a weeks notice after not being in the gym for 5 months (a crazy decision, i know). needless to say, i lost it because my tank ran empty. i was winning on points the first 2 rounds but i blew my load trying to knock the guy out in the 2nd round.... he was saved by the fukkin bell man. after that all i could do was sit back and enjoy the ride. he beat me by 1 point.
yeah i have 30 pounds to lose too... i have a fight coming up at the end of sept. and another at the end of oct.
just started training again last thursday.
good luck man. im running everyday and getting my cardio up. dont smoke whatever you do man. and keep running :boxing:
Current Canadian national champion for middle weight, age 16. Won in Halifax last March. Will be starting to prepare shortly for a run at light heavy this time around.
Good Job!
Keep it up, guys!
You all are doing damn good, and it takes more than one kind of guts just to enter that ring and fight.
You are brave lads and I wish you all well.

55-13, 21 Wins by RSC, USAF Featherweight and Lightweight Champion, Interservice (Armed Forces Champion) title once.
Only less than half of those losses were legit, but I got 1 or 2 that could haved gone the other way.
good stuff man. there are a few world class boxers at my gym. theyre all amateur though. for some reason my coach doesnt think much of pro boxing. he's all about getting his boys to compete in the olympics, so we can recieve scholarships and go to university/college for free.
0-1 but G Dog gonna step in the ring after G Dog loses 30 pounds.
Workin on the shoulder roll and parryin punches more
