Probably Carl Frampton, Barry McGuigan's fighter. Only seen a couple of his fights but he's getting a lot (probably too much) hype.

Saw Frampton for the first time tonight. The lad really does look the part.
lol Kubrat is dating some Pop Star.
Beat me to it.
Rakhim Chakhkiev CW 2008 Olympic Gold Medal.
Has to be taken out the ring on a stretcher.
(Germans destroy his name as usual)
thank you for this motherfukkin great choice, Rakhim Chakhkiev is so amazing for a CW
Was Omar Henry, but seeing how he acts in public, online - i have a feeling once the big checks roll in, his focus will die down and **** up his career. I could be wrong, i hope so but seeing his type.. idk.
Not that it matters, but the best hope for a U.S. Heavyweight is a guy by the name of Michael Hunter.
I'v heard people say this but don't see it. He's 6'2 about 215 and has never beat any top HW on the World stage. Winning an American National Championship doesn't really mean much just look at Jason Estrada.

yeah I know about Michael Hunter Jr very well but he haven't even turned Pro yet
Demetrius Andrade (just fought his 10th fight earlier this year)
I agree with Gary Russell Jr and Frankie Gomez and Jose obviously
of course many of the Cuban guys that are now coming over to fight as Pros: Yordenis Ugas, Yudel Jhonson, Guillermo Rigondeaux
Deontay Wilder (has 11 fights now) but he gives a little HOPE for the US in the Heavyweight division lol but he has a LONG WAY TO GO before he is ready for the best at Heavyweight but he is only 24
it is too many good young fighters ALL AROUND THE WORLD to list, boxing has a great future and a lot of young talent, just need to get these damn promoters out of the way

great call on a prospect not getting much shine but with oodles of talent
he could be a special one
also watch for
Gabino Saenz
Randy Caballero
Russell convinced me as soon as I saw that he was using his right hand more. He was too left hand heavy to be what he could be, but he's developed or just started using his right nicely and often.
have you seen the younger brother......I know he has 4, but the one that fought Warren?
I think he will be by far the best of the bunch....just curious if you felt the same way.
I don't think so, but I know I've seen 1 brother and they all seem to have basically the same style and movement. I don't think I'd be able to tell them apart lol.
The thing is Mike.....even though benavidez is really talented as well, They nut hug him a lot and talk sh*t about Frankie because Jose has Freddy Roach and just because he has Freddy...people think that makes him better which IMO it's not right.
I AGREE! Seems like everybody that works with Roach gets OVER HYPED
I don't put too much into Amateurs but I guess people forget that Frankie did beat Jose pretty good in Amateurs, Frankie is a pressure fighter, he goes after you and he stays on you the entire fight, I don't think I ever seen him fighting going backwards so far

I agree with what you are saying. I feel Freddy is the best in the business, but whoever is training Frankie is very, and I repeat very underrated as a trainer. I'm really big into following amateur boxing (have been for years) and I have seen huge improvements in Frankie's game.
What's crazy is you can tell he is trying to develop/improve as a fighter and is often disappointing in how soft his competition is. I don't think he says so outta respect, but he has the look of "come on I know you could have put up a better fight than that" on his face after he destroys an opponent.
BTW I have seen some of the best amateurs over the years....and Frankie is the real deal. The only thing that will stop him from being great is himself.
Kubrat Pulev, a Heavyweight from Bulgaria.

Good choice, he's been very impressive so far. For me it was either Pulev or Vyacheslav Glazkov (Hlazkov)

Well most of my favorite prospects are still in the amateurs but If I had to pick a pro that fit the description of this thread (under 10 fights)....the the kid I'm most excited about is Steven Martinez.
He is a kid from the Bronx and fights at Light Middleweight. He has really good skills and won 2008 national golden gloves at WW. Not only that but his his style wasn't really made for the amateurs (he has a pro style) despite his success (has mentioned this several times).
Kid is will be a great pro, if he keeps working hard. He is 5-0 with all five wins being via KO (and all within 3 rounds).
