It's official: Mma is a joke!

After watching tonight's Strikeforce matches, I have officially made up my mind that MMA is a joke. It is a ridiculous display of unskilled street fighting with few or no rules that make any sense. Tonight I found out that it is perfectly okay in MMA to hit a guy in the back of the head with your elbow or fist potentially causing major brain damage, but a low blow is a cardinal sin. It is okay to knee a guy in the head when he is on the floor, but you can't hold onto the cage when you are grappling. This is a joke and in no way will it ever reach the pinnacle that boxing has reached. :bsflag: :thumbsdow :moon: Strikeforce is a joke more than MMA is a joke. The UFC has its flaws but it's a pretty good product, Strikeforce (especially tonight and in general recently) is horrible. The announcers are so terrible. Some of the refs are pathetic (blows to the back of the head are illegal, just not always called) and the production just has an amateurish feel to it.

I don't really enjoy watching guys get knee'd and elbowed to the head, it's quite sickening, you gotta draw the line somewhere. The reason I like boxing is because its controlled aggression with boundaries, nothing dirty.
