I've seen guys with cuts worse than that be ready to fight in three to four months. And didn't Dawson say he'd be ready in a few months anyway? What's the problem? he will fight when he feel he is ready to fight, the process of setting up a fight is not as simple as many of you think, they have to contact HBO and see what dates are available then they have to negotiate the fight and find an opponent, also have to wait and see what Pascal is going to do, nobody knows if Pascal will take the rematch right away or will he take another fight damn people on the board b*tch and complain about EVERYTHING! you have people who probably never boxed before trying to tell Professional Boxers...HOW THEY SHOULD FIGHT, WHEN THEY SHOULD FIGHT, WHO THEY SHOULD FIGHT and HOW MANY TIMES A YEAR THEY SHOULD FIGHT :nonono:

He should have a tuneup or fight Diaconu if he wants to go straight into big fights, then Pascal, and then Bute or Cloud. His shoulder is ok, but the cut was a very bad one. A tuneup fight will be needed for Dawson, but his team is still in panic mode... they just can't admit that Dawson was simply not the best man during that fight, that's not good for Dawson. From what i see around him, he shouldn't fight Diaconu in his first fight, Diaconu did better against Pascal than he did so that's not a sure bet.
