Floyd's Pull-Counter

I think he's got the most "beautiful pull-counter" in the game... With Manny as a Southpaw, it is entirely different. He can pull-counter off Manny's LEFT CROSS though but since Manny doesn't exclusively used it as a lead punch (though he has plenty of times). Manny's Right hoooks, lead right hooks/check hooks can "nullify" Mayweather's pull-counter and set him off balanced. Then again, Mayweather's lead right cross can do the same for Pacquiao. It is entirely a different strategy but angles are much, much harder to counter against a southpaw.ask judah--floyd will counter manny with a left jab over manny's left jab---true story--and buckle him and possible drop him with it--

it wouldnt work against Manny. once Manny land his left jab you know whats next right? the combination will follow. FLoyd would be backing up and run from him. specially if Manny can take Floyd punches? its all over for him. he can counter all he wants as long as Manny's left jab and right hook will land.you do know he has countered combinations before right--round 2 of his fight with gatti--he countered gatti's 1,2 combo wih a left hook--and round 5 with de la hoya---just to name 2-lol--manny will be no different--

I'd like to see what Roach feels he has up his sleeve to counter the counter master. Well, since you still seem to love the fact that I'm right about Pacqiuao being better than Whitaker (I'm at the point I don't expect your sig to be sarcastic), I'd say....do you see Floyd doing that to guys like Miguel Cotto (who he wouldn't even fight)? Zab Judah? Oscar? When you put forward motion on your jab, unlike possibly the worst jabbers on HBO (Gatti, Mosley, Ndou, those other bums), he'd get destroyed trying to do that. No Floyd fan wants to admit that. It's like the Judah fight is absent from these idiots' minds. Pacquiao is a Judah that never stops punching. If Judah didn't tire, didn't allow himself to fade, would Mayweather win that fight? HELL NO.

Mayweather never got countered by a big shot throwing that punch and if it has worked perfect so far, It's not a weekness to be exploited that easy.

In the mosley fight i remember counting 3 2 1 before he even threw it. That **** is brilliant and the fighters can't stop it even though they know its coming at some point

He pull countered the hell out of NDou. Non stop. Say what you want to say about Floyd, he's a master of his craft. Even with all the **** he's pulled I'll still pick him to beat Manny, and to me his one sided win over Mosley was expected.

You make it sound like it's the only thing this man does. He does a hell lot more, brilliantly then any other boxer out there. Right. That's only one of the surgical tools in the surgeon's toolbox.

what i would do is feint the left jab and dip under his counter, then nail him with a uppercut i would also jab to his body first then when he brings his hands down to block nail him with a hook uppercut he reason floyd does this is because he doesnt like to bang cuz his hands are soft, which is also the reason why he has to inject xylocaine before every fight You know what's really funny?
