So now we're inventing fighters to beat Floyd, huh?
No need to invent them, Kotelnik, Dzhinzurik, and Senchenko are very much real. Has Floyd ever fought in Europe (or even outside the US)? Has he ever fought in hostile territory where he would have to take the fight outside the hands of the judges and where they will not give him points for staying on his bicycle for 12 rounds?
he would have got his ass kicked just like jacobs and alexander did when they faced europeans.
:bottle:
I would second this notion, you have plenty of guys he could fight between 140-154 that E. European and are world-known and have been or are world champs:
Vycheslav Schenchenko, undefeated, Ring #8
Dzhinzhurik, undefeated, belt, Ring ranked
Kotelnik, former world-champ, viewed by my to have beaten Devon Alexander recently, Ring ranked
Foreman, Ring ranked, thought to have lost to Cotto only because of knee injury
I would put money on the first three to beat Floyd, Foreman doesn't have enough power and it's doubtful his knee will heal in the near future.
Thread is stupid but it's a good point in some aspects, we rarely see the European style fighters in the lower weight divisions so we don't know how they'd fare.
I wonder how Floyd and Pacquiao would do against a sledgehammer jab and stiff right hand and tight guard.
floyd is a veteran fighter, he cant be compared to ppl like alexander and jacobs in terms of versatillity. floyds greatest asset is to read and adapt to his oponents style, and his ability to fight in several styles himself. pirog doesnt even have a eastern european style anyways, this thread just fails in every aspect imaginable.
To get Floyd to even fight in Europe would be a hard job in itself. To proves hes great he will need to fight outside the comfort of his own backyard.
Lets see if that shoulder rolling for 12 rounds works in Germany or anywhere in Europe!
he would have got his ass kicked just like jacobs and alexander did when they faced europeans.

Most fighters have been poor with no education either, which is rampant in black America.
It's no secret that the poor take up boxing far, far more commonly.
Just in case you missed the memo...
We aren't talking about education and black America, we were talking about BOXING.

Actually with black people representing only a fairly small percentage of the total population it could well be the case that there a far more 'poor, uneducated' white people in America. Either way this thread is poor.
