Was the Recent Mayweather-Mosley Fight Fixed?

i think there's a decent chance it was fixed. if you follow the sequence of events from when floyd came back from his first "vacation" it looks suspiciously like a money grab and nothing more. floyd takes an easy fight against marquez. a slap in the face to all boxing fans and about 20 million dollars for a guaranteed win. why fight marquez? out of all the fighters in the world marquez? well he is with golden boy, he is a small lightweight and he has no chance of winning so maybe thats why. then he fights mosley. in the actual fight mosley fought floyd on even terms till he landed those bombs. then mosley who is a great finisher and never gases suddenly backs off and throws nothing but arm punches looking totally gassed. where were the huge power shots that destroyed mayorga in the 12th? where were the huge power shots that destroyed margarito in the 8th? it's hard to believe mosley gassed out in the second round of this fight and don't tell me floyd's defense was too good cause when he was on queer street he was an open book for a couple power shots around his guard but mosley suddenly started throwing arm punches and holding. in the rest of the fight mosley looks like he's not even trying to win and totally telegraphs his punches just to make sure he doesn't accidentally catch mayweather again. now floyd refuses to fight pacquiao even though it's "easy work" and his biggest payday ever? i'm sure he's looking for another patsy opponent to make him millions more for an easy nights work. maybe then he will come back from "vacation" let's also remember golden boy has a history of suspect fights. hopkins-delahoya that just did not look like a knockout punch to me and it never will. delahoya-mayweather if this wasn't a fixed fight i don't know what is. 2 guys lightly sparring each other and trying to make it seem like the fight was close. even the split decision left people saying delahoya still had it. we found out he didn't when steve forbes and pacquiao pummeled him. We heared a lot of excuses to discredit mayweather , but the "the fight was fixed" excuse is one of the lamest and silliest. mosley didn't gas out , watch the fight again and see that he was still bouncing on his toes till the last round . mosley also after he hit floyd with the two hard puches he pressed him and tried to finish him off,that won't happen if the fight was fixed .

Yes the fight was fixed just like all of Mayweathers fights. In fact thats why he is still undefeated smh. For the people that say that the fight was fixed because Shane cheated by using PEDs in the past. All that proves is that Shane would do anything to WIN not Lose and actually hurts your dumb logic of him throwing the fight because he has proven in the past that he is willing to go above and beyond and do anything to win a fight not lose one lol.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was fixed. How the hell Mosley did not finish Floyd when he was able to go all out on Marg is what really make people question this fight. But then again that was two years prior to the fight with Floyd. It is possible that Mosley could've easily have gone downhill since then, not to mention that he was 39yrs old. But i'll give Floyd the benefit of the doubt, which is shocking for me to say, but i just don't think that Floyd would stoop that low. Ellerbe on the other hand, Floyd's secret lover, would stoop that low for Floyd, figuratively and literally.

When he did take the risk to throw after the 2nd, he'd hit air and/or gloves and get hit with a counter shot. Let alone the fact that he's 38 and had been on a 15 month layoff. Long layoffs are notoriously bad for old fighters as it fukcs with their timing and stamina. Go to your local boxing gym and face a good counter puncher. You might see what you do when you're constantly getting or threatened with getting hit with a counter. Good question. But in defense of the conspiracy here it can be claimed that Mayweather , or whatever the party that fixed the fight has influence on Mosley's future options in fight possibilities . I can't stand Floyd, but he's great at his craft. Its a shame he won't fight everyone and simply chooses to fight for the biggest purse. Dude could cement himself as an all time great.

This is boxing, where fighters train for most of their lives to get where they're at. Jaws, hands, ribs are bruised and broken on the regular. Brains are rattled with every clean punch to the head and brain cells dissipate. Where fighters are left pissing blood for days and weeks afterward from any given body shot. Where any given punch can hurt you, knock the senses out of you, or out cold. Where, at times, they leave a piece of themselves in the ring in hopes to have come away with a win. Boxing is where manhood can be proven, developed, or taken. The reason why Joe Frazier, Riddick Bowe, Evander Holyfield, Meldrick Taylor are slurring their words. The reason why Freddie Roach and Muhammad Ali suffer from pugilistic dementia.
