You need a great jab to beat Mosley. Trinidad did not have a good jab and once you neutralize his left hook he had nothing else.
Trinidad would KO Mosley? come on.
Bingo!!!!! mosley has never outbox nobody.
your allegiance has nothing to do with him being from your island right...?\
Anyways, I've NEVER managed to conceive why Tito is regarded as this great boxer. I personally think the guy was a over hyped sh!tty boxer. When Hopkins beat the sh!t outta him i threw a party.
I got Tito in this one.
If there was any way to beat Trinidad it was by using a pure boxer style which included great footwork, lateral movement and a consistent jab. Mosley was never considered such a fighter.
Another thing I notice is that many posters are stating what Mosley did way back in his heyday but yet completely forget that that was before he entered the welterweight division.
Mosley abandoned much of his fundamentals when he moved to welter. (i.e. he didn't go to the body as much he wasn't as fast with his combinations and he opted to trade more with his opponents, we all know that's a big "not to do" with Tito.
I see Tito picking his shots and teeing off with his lefthook.
Tito by late stoppage.

Mosley had better speed, footwork, and a chin that can take a shot. Tito has been dropped numerous times in his career by weaker punchers.
Mosley can move and take Tito's shots. Won't be easy, but I say Mosley wins by KO in 10.
Mosley is quicker, tougher, and more durable. Mosley was too dynamic in his peak. He could box, but he loved to brawl and take a shot to give a shot.
Tito had to be in control to be successful, while Mosley fought his way to victories against De la Hoya, Rivera, and even Mayorga. Mosley's biggest weakness was also Trinidad's weakness which were guys who can box and move real well. The difference is Mosley can move, while Tito was very robotic.
Mosley beats Tito,Mosley starts strong while Tito starts slower,Mosley drops him early then Tito gets stronger while Mosley stays strong & finishes a great fight!!
Besides Mosley getting dropped against Forrest. He has never been hurt in his career. His chin is legit. If he trades with Tito. Which I don't think he would. He would probably win those exchanges because of his speed.
I don't see Tito knocking out or beating Shane. Just don't
To bad the fight didn't happen
I told the cats in a Floyd thread yesterday. That a lot of people never seen a prime Mosley. He looked way better than the one that fought last May. Vernon Forrest took away his confidence. His career has been up and down since
Spot on. In his past 5/6 fights he's becomes loose with wild, wide almost sloppy punches. Still fast, but not crisp like he used to be. Just look at the mayorga/cotto/mayweather fights (and even the margarito fight to an extent, but it wasnt as obvious because marg is sooo slow)
I hate how fans of the sport forget what guys like Mosley do early in their career because of what happened late in their career
some people are forgetting a prime roy,,, worlds coming to an end!!

what was wrong with what i said?
odlh did win most of the first 6 rounds, and Mosley comes on strong late (except in his fight with mayweather - at age 38 and having not fought in 18 months)
I also don't see Mosley trying to trade or trying to fight in the inside with Tito.
your totally wrong because thats what you think he should not do to win. It doesnt mean he would or wouldnt do it.
Mosley always have problems against guys with good jabs and is a sucker or right hands. He also trades in every fight.
He gots KOd
I like both, but Mosley's got this.
For those who say Tito by KO, no, just no. Mosley's chin is one of the best. He has only been dropped in one round of his career, and that was within seconds of being headbutted, and being cut (for the first time in his career).
Oscar made Tito look like he'd never boxed in the first six rounds of their fight, and prime Mosley would have done the same but not been tired or backed off. Prime Mosley could box very well (watch his LW fights and his early ww fights)
... and Tito's chin would get tagged, and he's been dropped before. Mosley hurt prime dlh badly in their first fight (12th round) and has knockouts over guys like margarito - his power is deadly.
This is what i don't like about people - he loses to the most skilled fighter in the world at AGE 38 (still hurt mayweather worse than he'd ever been hurt before) and all of a sudden that means he was rubbish in his prime.
Right there it shows how much you know :nonono::nonono:
this! :boxing:

Prime Mosley could box very well (watch his LW fights and his early ww fights) before he started messing aound with weight training so he could fight at 154 and got into 'power boxing'

Prime mosley was strugling with Wilredo Rivera and was losing the fight.
Tito was a execelent counterpuncher, great jab and ridiculous power. Mosley gets chop down and KTFO by Tito
He wasn't losing the Rivera fight. Come on Champ. Rivera gave him some problems. Nothing wrong with that. First fight at 147 because he jumped from LW. Rivera wasn't a bad fighter either.
I don't see Tito knocking out or beating Mosley.
Mosley was also a good counter puncher in his prime
