a poor mans pwill, very poor.
like i've been saying for months, caba is a poor mans pwill. very poor.
pwill is much better but he reminds me of pwilly for some reason.
man it sucks having to keep quiet until stuff is official. anyways, the promoters might be all for it next year. caballero has a very good shot at getting a crack at both in the next 12 months. that is all i can say until septemberish
i agree...i think 2011 is the year baby.....:boxing:
That guy was clearly bigger!!Just sayin!!
I saw the same thing, also that looked like the end of a long and tough sparring session. Sparring is sparring.
a poor mans pwill, very poor.
First time I've ever seen you with red K. But as for the TS, Gamboa has flaws too that a bum would commit like leaving his chin way up in the air. Lopez does the same thing as well. Even though Lopez won against Concepcion impressively with his power, I don't think Caballero would've ever hit the canvass against him even if it took Caballero longer to stop him than Lopez did.
I don't think he sucks, but I think he wins more from his size/length than his skill. I mean in the video of the fight posted he won off of activity and size, sure he has some skills which is why he landed that shoulder roll/counter, however, his fights are not like that. He simply is taller than you and uses his strength which include stamina. That being said even though he is a tall fighter like Marg/Williams who I think suck, Caballero is still better because he DOES use techniques to clean up his defense which is effected his punching output.
He showed that he can be hit with clean shots and I'll give Juanma and Gamboa a shot of knocking him out because of this. However, as its been stated by every floyd fan on earth, but it is still a true statement. Fights HAVE to make sense and I know there is not ONE person on here that would turn down a fight with a DRAW in Marquez to fight a very difficult unknown. Sorry but drawing power in boxing carries as much weight as your skills thats just how it works and until the guy gets some name value he'll be "ducked" or plainly put, won't be able to fight any big names unless he can put butts in the seats and money in the wallets of the promoters involved.
bingo!!!!!!!:boxing::boxing:

What skills you see there???
I only see, a wild swinging numb-nuts who happend to be to tall for his opponent to get to him often.
caballero isnt willy pep but he has some skills, it takes skills to control distance and use your height. thats a very basic part of boxing kid, u should watch some more fights so u wont have to pretend u know what skills are when in reality u dont.
pelenchin saw that tonight as we were at a friends house. he yelled at me (jokingly) for not putting up the good part. first you need to realize that he does not have a fight scheduled right now. so his sparring is not nearly as intense as it would be if he were to have a set date. second, the guy he was sparring with is an amateur who pelenchin was being very nice with. in fact, after this was shot, the other guy went at it real hard as if it were a real fight. it pissed pelenchin off and he proceeded to make the guy look like a clown.
ask jeff mayweather and he will tell you that celestino trains harder than any fighter he has ever seen. even now he trains 6 days a week. but you cant train at 100% all the time as you will peak well before your time comes to fight. i am probably going back to the gym tomorrow to film again since he was mad at me for not getting some of the better stuff. but i can tell you floyd was impressed and entertained. it was my fault that i didnt catch the best part of the action
I heard about him taking a break from training and going to Panama for a short vacation, even though he doesn't have a fight scheduled. That was all I needed to know about how much he wants it.
People focus on his awkward crudeness and are blinded by that without being able to see what he does have and how well he uses it.
His conditioning will be top notch and it won't be the first time the less skilled fighter comes out on top (cough, cough... Margarito). It's the same reason I see something similar if Caballero-Lopez happens. I'm pretty sure Top Rank will throw Gamboa at him first.

Who would be first if this was to happen?
Of he sucks why did Juanma and Gamboa duck him???
Huh???
They are both chickens.
One of them will destroy Caballero very very soon...believe me :booty:
If Caballero had no skills or talent, then Juanma and Gamboa would have fought him and taken his place on the P4P lists. As it stands, they are both avoiding Caba like the plague because they know what most know; Caballero would beat the piss out of both of them.
Yo no se tampoco cual skills tu les ves al flaco largo ese....
He got skills, but his success will be based on talent, intangibles and physical advantages more than anything.
If he's that bad and they're that good, they woulde've fought him already.
