Back in the day I would definitely say King because he was a corrupt, greedy, sneaky son of a *****,but these Arum has a huge part in destroying boxing plus he does nothing but constantly lie and only does what is good for himself. They both been around about the same amount of time and are still around today, overall who would you say is worse?
Arum
Erik Morales was fairly satisfied until the end
JMM wasnt Happy but only because the attention given to Erik
King
Ali
Tyson
Witherspoon
NO CONTEST
:)
King will not even make fights for his fighters. how long was cory spinks inactive, ricardo mayorga, guillermo jones, rosendo hernandez, among others.
king basically starves his fighters until they have no choice but to accept whatever he feels like offering. which includes renewing contracts.
there is absolutely no comparison between the two.

King has to be considered worse overall. I'm sure Arum has short changed fighters, but never to the extent that Don has.
I was just about to quote Tua, but this line says exactly what I was thinking.
Truth!
Edit: Matter of fact, I will highlight your whole statement.
:beerchug:
ironically, most of them are also the same posters who like to brag about how they are the real boxing fans.:lol1:
Lawyers are trained to say what ever it takes to win while Bodyguards are paid to protect. Both will cut throat. But at least the bodyguard is not trying to BS you while they do
King is by far worse. Both are legendary promoters who did great for the sport in their day, but King has always had a reputation for screwing over his fighters badly and Arum hasn't. Not to mention Arum continues to give us household names like Mayweather and Pacquiao and King isn't doing so much recently.
even in topics like this some posters' stupid fanatic side prevail. they jump into conclusions even without enough information to really understand the issue but whatever is to the advantage of their idol gets their support. classic example of blind fanaticism.

Golden boy is just as bad as them 2,promoters always look out for #1,themselves!!
that's how the business works.
i never understand the criticism of promoters trying to make money.
that's their job.
seriously you guys have no idea wtf you guys are talking about.
i suggest researching this topic before you talk.
king has been out of the limelight for a bit and it seems like people have short memories or just don't know ****.
King knows how to put good fights together arums just comes off as somebody who only cares about making money for himself and putting ****y fights nobody really wants.
really? sure about that?
Both are very selfish, unscrupulous men who have hurt the sport of boxing.
But Bob Arum is worse. Don King would at least do his best to make Mayweather-Pacquiao if he was Manny's promoter.
Arum is giving us less interesting fights like Pacquiao-Clottey and Pacquiao-Margarito because with those, he's in a win-win situationbecause of promoting both fighters.
Do you seriously think a two-time murderer is better than a selfish businessman? They're both bad, but Arum isn't even in the same league.

Both are bad...Could really care less who is worst...IMHO.
On a Side Note: Don King flew Stevie Jonhston to his office to offer him a deal, and to become his promoter. Stevie Turned him down. Don then (as if he know this was going to happen, or just in case it did) called in three young hispanic fighters that were under his lable. Stevie was jumped by the three.
True story...
Arum might be a liar and he might be costing the sport, but King has killed two men and ripped off countless fighters. No contest whatsoever in my opinion.
