Khan and Maidana are the top 140lbs...

i'm sick of hearing that ortiz would win easily against maidana just by "outboxing" him. maidana is an excelent pressure fighter and ortiz is no withaker... I just don't see ortiz winning a rematch

Ok fair enough I didnt catch that you phrased it in past tense, do you think Ortiz has learned his lesson about trying to brawl brawlers? and would you give any of those fighters a good chance against Ortiz at this point? Yes, he's certainly learned his lesson. In his last three fights, he's focused more on boxing, moving and accuracy. If they fought again, I'd pick Ortiz to win a lopsided decision. As for the other top fighters, I'm not sure. I need to see more from him. That Campbell win was not impressive at all. He just did what he had to do and nothing more. He should have tried to steal the show from Khan like what Gamboa did to Juanma.

Bradley is still #1, his last fight at 140 he DOMINATED a good young fighter in Lamont Peterson, Abregu was him testing himself at 147, it wasn't perfect but he got the UD so Bradley is the clear cut #1 just like I thought he always was, I am fair I will give Khan #2 right now since Alexander did struggle on Saturday, Alexander falls to #3, Kotelnik #4 and Maidana #5

Bailey had deadly one punch KO power that he even carries at 147, and Urango, who knocked Bailey out is a deadly slugger and puncher. His chin is also just as good as Maidana's, if not better. And that Alexander KO doesn't say much about his chin, because he landed right on top of the uppercut. That would have lifted pretty much any fighter off of their toes. But I'm referring to the Ortiz from that fight, not today's Ortiz. And the fact that he'd beat Maidana 9/10 proves that his win over him isn't as good as Alexander's resume. I agree with you I think Maidana is the worst of the top fighters at 140 although he should deservedly be placed of Ortiz in the rankings. Hes a fun fighter to watch, but I think he loses to Khan, Ortiz,Bradley and Alexander more often than not.

bradley is still top but only edges out khan. paulie is a seasoned fighter among them and khan toyed w/ him.

And please don't bring up the Cayo victory. Victor Cayo is no more than a moving punching bag. Looks RJJ flashy, but fights mediocre overall. Ortiz beats Maidana 9/10 times. thats my take as well, Bradley has the bigger body of work at 140. Yup, Bradley is miles ahead the other top 140 lb's when it comes to quality of opposition.

Bradley is above Khan at the moment, but any ranking which doesn't list Kotelnik above Alexander isn't worth reading.

Nah I still think Bradley is the best but Khan is right on his tail and could very well beat him.
