king doesnt have none of the big name fighters. lots of promoters & tv people have shied away from dealing with king. dk doesnt have the same stature & clout like he used to. just ask nate campbell & juan diaz. fighters who had immense trouble securing fights due to the fact that they were signed with king. it took them a lot of time & lawyer fees just to get out from under king. That's because King always wants a part of a fighter that fights his fighters, Mayweather is the biggest draw in boxing and any fighter will jump at the chance of fighting him (apart from Pacquiao) even if they have to sign with King.

That means Don King will do whatever he can to maximize the return. He will do whatever he can to make sure he doesn't go in the negative. So that sure as hell means that Sergio Martinez, Paul Williams, Andre Berto, Timothy Bradley are definitely out of the picture. They do not generate enough interests and money to create a massive return. So who will be Floyd's opponents? Pacquiao is a given. But who else? Miguel Cotto is a lock. Amir Khan is a lock. Are you sure about that. I could have swore Al Haymon had a lot to with Floyd success (business wise) in the sport of boxing. So Al Haymon told him to create a character to increase his value, market, and salary? Floyd knows more about the business of boxing than people think he knows. He learned a lot after he was screwed by Arum and outsmarted Arum. Ellerbe had more to do with Floyd's career than Haymon. If Haymon is so good... Why can't his other boxers be stars and be able to sell PPVs? Floyd doesn't need Haymon because Ellerbe does most of the work for Team Mayweather.
