it was my first time seeing a full card LIVE, and I wasn't disappointed. Those around me in attendance were cool, we joked around.
Kotelnik was landing the far more effective punches. That's the one thing I noticed.
And I'll admit, I trolled as a Kotelnik fan. Some people were booing me and stuff, it was fun.
I was shocked when Bundrage KO'ed Spinks. Some dude three rows back kept coaching Cory. "WHERE THAT JAB CHAMP!!!!.....DE U GO! DE U GO!!!" It was funny.
And I had Cloud/Johnson 115-113 Johnson. It could have gone either way honestly.
I spoke with Evander briefly outside the Scottrade Center, I told him he got robbed against Valuev, he thanked me for my support in that fight.
Overall, I had a great time there. What about my fellow attendees, I want to hear about your experiences.
I was on the H section near where HBO was broadcasting Row C or 3 in the stands not on the floor awesome VIEW and incredible! Yea STL was packed for the fight man thats why I hope Alexander vs Bradley happens in STL it would be jam packed and would be awesome! Throw Cloud vs Dawson on the undercard 2 HBO PPV Live ST Louis
Cool, man. Sounds like you had awesome seats. You get good photos?
I would LOVE it if Bradley/Alexander came to St. Louis. I would gladly go to that fight. Cloud/Dawson on the undercard = icing on the cake.
I'm in Seattle so unfortunately we don't get major cards here often. The best cards in the past few years were James Kirkland vs Mohammad Said, Vic Darchininyan vs Dmitry Kirillov, Vernon Forrest vs Baldomir.
But I'll tell you this - every other month there is a card here and every single time the place is absolutely packed and full of energy and most always it's not televized, just local guys or up & comers like George Foreman III, shit like that. I always shake my head when I see Friday Night Fights with empty ass venues, when there are towns just like here that are packed and ready to see action all the time. Like the most recent Shumenov fight was a joke in Vegas, there were like 14 people there! If they had that same card in Washington it would have been a sell out
I know what you mean, on ESPN when not even a quarter of the casino is filled up, dumb.
Hmm....sounds like Seattle would be a good neutral location to sell tickets! Ward/Dirrell, anyone?
How much do tickets sell for? I imagine maybe $50 or less for decent seats.

I didn't know Forrest vs. Baldomir was in Seattle... that fight had an excellent crowd.
I'm on board with sending more good fights there.

The bold made me laugh... especially the Spinks part. Green K for this post.
I have been two other fights low key ones. This was my 1st big card and it was awesome great atmoshpere and I hope HBO plans to bring more boxing to STL because of the crowd was into it big time! I thought Alexander won the fight by 2 rds not 4. You can give points for Defensive people! Alexander was much more busier and in the final two rounds he stole the fight he won the championship rounds with a cut. He however didnt look awesome he was on a off night. Cloud and Johnson was an awesome Fight 2 WOW!!!! Close fight but I feel that CLoud won because Johnson appeared tired and didnt do much from rounds 5-9. Awesome Card tho and Ryan Coyne is a guy to watch out for a cruiserweight 15-0.
Yea that cruiserweight fight was interesting. I actually walked in at round 8 of that match-up.
Where were you sitting? I was two levels above the ring entrance, so I got some cool photos.

pretty dope card to see live, especially if it was your first time. I had a blast and I was behind a TV :)
My first card I cannot recall a single name. ALL BUMS! But it was fun as hell as always.
Watching fights live always increase the entertainment by at least 50%. Glad you a good time
Yeah, that's what I think now. Seeing it on TV is one thing, seeing it live is another experience entirely. It was like being at the Coliseum with the OOHs and AAHs whenever a tough blow landed, it was amazing.
What major cards have you been to?
lol, were u really rooting 4 kotelnik??? was there any1 else???
Yea, haha. I was right next to the ring entrance. I think the only other fans of his there were part of his entourage, =].
