Don King RUINED Cory Spinks!!

Bad stoppage or not, Spinks was apparently gettin his ass whipped the whole fight...

Spinks losing tonight isn't Don's fault, the fight not happening in April is though. Lets not forget that Spinks was training with Buddy McGirt, that usually spells disaster. K9 was trained by Emmanuel Steward.

and Liakhovich, Meehan, Jones etc is what King does best Although turning into a fat slob and ballooning up over 200 lbs probably didn't help

How can you guys have such strong opinions without seeing the fight? I just read some shit about a bad call.

And fighting once every 1 1/2 years didn't play a part in that? Not everyone is as big of a gym rat as B-Hop and Floyd. I think he just lost the motivation after a while. That's the difference between legends and above average boxers. A world class fighter would never let himself get that out of shape in between fights. The older you get... the harder it is for your body to lose weight healthy and get in shape for a fight.

But don't you understand being kept inactive for a year and a half CAUSED him to get badly out of shape? Don King has ruined many boxers by keeping them inactive. He should still be in decent shape and continue to work when he's not active. You don't see guys like Floyd walking around at 180 when they're inactive and not fighting. Too many people here are always blaming the promoters for everything when most of the blame goes on the boxers. I agree with you about being inactive would cause him to be rusty and out of shape, but you should never be that out of shape in between fights.

Spinks came in over 200 lbs for his training camp for the fight with K-9. When your own trainer refuses to train you because you're that out of shape and you don't have the work ethic... that should tell you something. I dont think so CORY SPINKS worse enemy is Cory Spinks. I heard he comes in camp 200+ pounds every time and that Kevin doesnt want him to train again. I also heard that he smoke cigaretes and drink!
