Now that I think about it, Floyd likely won't get ripped off with this deal. For the most part I think Don King might make a loss with regards to promoting Mayweather ( The 100 million + percentage from fights) but he's likely looking to give his promotional company another kick start. You have to spend money to make money.

i dont understand why Floyd would need Don King, or any promoter. Don King has been there before and can talk the fight up in the same vain as all of those legendary fights that he has promoted. That's something Oscar really hasn't been around long enough to do yet. If I were him I would rather the lesser evil promote the fight for me though. More money would probably stay in his pockets. But if he's really getting 100 million guaranteed then he probably doesn't care too much

This to me is a welcome news. Fans should now demand a renegotiation on the May/Pac fight. Mayweather vs Pacquiao in late November or December of this year. F***k the Pacquiao/Margarito fight. That's a waste of time and saliva.
