Nobody knew anything about Sergio Martinez before the Williams fight

I think his popularity has grown since the williams fight, but he was already known. Overrated- that's possible, by some people, but he's a damn good fighter. He takes challenging fights. I think he's good for boxing.

I remember the Margarito fight back in 2000 or 2001 I think it was, he is a MUCH better fight now then he was then, I would love to see this version of Martinez get a rematch against Margarito but yes I do think SOME PEOPLE are overrating him a little bit

Cintron was clearly up before 10, even the ref said it after wards and the whole HBO crew agreed with him as well. Now that I'm thinking about it I also think it's b.s that people feel he should have been DQ as the HBO camera crew was in the ring before Cintrons team entered. Bottom line is Cintron got clearly outboxed, and that's basically it (He didn't lose three times). I think the only reason people say that is for the "wow" factor, or simple because they dislike Cintron.

No disrespect but I don't get why people think Cintron should have been KO'd. He was looking and talking to the ref and his knee was clearly up around the 8 or 9 count. His knee was starting to come up after the ref said 9 and the ref waited a few seconds before he even began to count. The ref waved his hand and said you didn't make the count and Cintron cried "it was a headbutt"....the replay showed a flush left did the damage. I was really ticked off that night
