Dude he got stunned within a minute of the first round, which means he's still green. My point is that they are already calling him the next big thing. And he's not and won't be And he won everyother minute of everyround after that. Fighters get caught and when he was hurt he kept his poise and got out of trouble. Not proclaiming him to be a future HOF fighter or anything but most fighters his age usually don't get themselves out of a situation like that. And just because they are building him a fan base does not mean he is being proclaimed as the GOAT. Its just marketing! Not everyone wants to fight in obscurity the rest of their lives you know and Saul isn't even the one responsiable for all the hype. He just has a good promotional team behind him so stop being a hater. The popularity he's acheived at this point is just a drop in the bucket when compared to the true megastars of the fight game.

Amir Khan will be thenext Cash Cow of the sport. ALvarez ha a shot though, he's freaking 20. He can keep winning and developing and in 4-5 years be the top of the sport with a ginormous Mexican fanbase.

Perhaps we should wait til Alvarez steps in with a world class fighter or two before we put hm into the hall of fame. Who's putting him in the HOF? Most people even Mexican fight fans see him as just a really good looking prospect.

No offense but the "CASH COW" title has been owned by Ali, SRL, Tyson, Holyfield (post Tyson), ODH, and Floyd. Only Mike was not a US Olympian. There are other guys that generate big money like trinidad, Manny, Gatti, JCChavez,Hagler, Hearns, Duran but they are not the top dog.

Right now to really be called a cash cow in the sport you will need to fight and beat either Manny or Pacquiao. Because both of those guys became cash cows by defeating the former ones (Oscar and Hatton). And right now Manny and Floyd are going the rout of taking the fights with the most money without a whole lot risk and I have a hard time either of them giving Alvarez a shot in a few years. Cash Cows may become a thing of the past soon.

Meh we will see I like the kid a lot but like most of the Mexican fighters he's not exactly a cross over fighter. Maybe if he learns English then maybe this Ginger has something going for himself.
