ortiz has no belts at 140. marquez is in a race vs morales & barerra to be the first 4 division mexican champion. only way marquez goes to 140 is for a belt. ortiz brings nothing to the table. only way they fight is if he goes down to 135 or gets a belt at 140. Agreed! Marquez is in search of that 4th title. This fight may just come off if Ortiz ends up with a belt.

JMM gives anyone a tought fight at this moment. I noticed against Diaz his combos are still crisp and powerful all the way through round twelve. I think he would shake Amirs chin up...I think he would mentally break Ortiz down. Goes etiher way but leaning more towards JMM. Katsidis well he would get Knocked out..JMM would pick him apart. Hes Diaz but with more power but not enough to threatin him. Plus he would turn Kats face into a bloody mess. He fights every round like the first round like a surgeon.

Marquez knocks Ortiz out. Ehh, I think Ortiz uses his superior speed at 140lb, stays on the outside, and would refuse to exchange with Marquez. Ortiz can still punch and Marquez still has a weak chin. The reason we all love Marquez is because he knows how to get back up. I think it would be a good fight, but I'd still rather see Marquez-Katsidis or Marquez-Bradley.
