Oh that's why he held a press confrence and invited haggler to come thinking he was going to announce a fight.
I understand your point, but you know that nobody will ever remember SRL as a chicken, i wont either but if you think Floyd doesn't need a good manager it's ok with me, it's your opinion.
Just imagine if Lenard made haggler wait 5 years to fight him. People definitely wouldn't be calling him a all time great.
Im 42 and i started boxing at about 12, so i remember that fight
Leonard took a rest after a detached retina... so people knew why they hade to wait and it was for a very good reason. Floyd is not hurt, i hope i'm clear, sometimes my English is not good enough !
BTW Leonard > Mayweather
Floyd is a great boxer but his career decisions aren't that great, he needs someone to guide him, right now who do you see for that job ?
Career decisions? So making 65M in one year when you don't have any major endorsement deals is a bad career? :lol1:
I get your point but its not the same thing. The people who question floyd are those that don't like him. Whenever you evaluate someone based on if you like them or not it doesn't matter what they do. You keep asking for more.
I respect boxers cause i know what it takes to be at that level. Something is wrong about all this, Floyd doesn't get the advices that he needs, one of the best fight in years is gone and nobody knows if it will ever happen. I don't hate Floyd but i'm mad at all this bullshit about resting and not saying a word when it's time to talk.
People will forget how much money he made thats for sure and if Floyd doesn't go in the ring with Manny, people will remember and his reputation will be stained. It's bad for Floyd and bad for boxing, just imagine Ali not fighting Foreman for whatever reasons...

What? Didn't he just make a great deal of money in the Mosley fight. If he was stupid he would have stayed with bob not making the money he is making now. When all said and done nobody is going to remember this bullsh1t after him and PAC fight next year. All that he was scared of PAC sh1t will go out the window.

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=352&cat=boxer take a look. Take notice not only on the name value but in the fact that every one of his major opponents were on a upstream when faced with Floyd instead of coming of loses or beatdowns to face Floyd. Despite all the criticism (which come from the fact Floyd is undefeated alone) not even Pacquiao, the people's champ, has done what Floyd has. Pacquiao has fought not most but all his meaningful fights vs opponents who were on the way out. The ones who weren't got him loses, draws or sd wins. Oh but he gets praised for that, go figure...

You are 33 years old, your record reads 41-0, your resume is brilliant and reads like the who's who of the boxing world. I think if you are that guy, you've done pretty well so far.
Read the thread again dipshit, it is about his poor handling of him money, not how much money he makes :dunce:
I got what the thread was about. Where does it say anything about managing his money? My guess is he's doing ok. He's doing better than you as well.
Wow. Dude just made $40 mil plus fighting Mosley. I'mm thinking he is doing ok in his boxing career.
If money is more important than his reputation, you're right.
