yeah I pretty much knew right away that English was not our first language which is perfectly fine but my quote in the other topic about Pirog: ^not even sure how you turned this comment into "someone saying that Pirog is Top 10 P4P" but that is not what I was saying at all not even close Well, i was not talking about you, but it all started yesterday, when Jacobs lost, Pirog became the next best thing in less than a day, that can only happened if you beat a TOP fighter right ? This is where i don't want to go, that fight was a mistake, Jacobs was not ready, he's got skills, but boxing is different from other sports, skills are important but you need the experience in the ring to get those skills to work. Jacobs wasn't ready, Pirog was, so he won. Even if some won't say it now, i know that if Dawson lose one or two fights, a lot of people will stop having respect for him. They will find some mistakes that they never saw before and say that he was OVERRATED just like Jacobs was. Time will tell, let's wait for his first lost to see if i was wrong. I think Dawson will beat Pascal. But Pascal will be ready, this will be a great fight not like Jacobs vs Pirog...

Pirog ain"t no top 10 P4P. Dawson has beaten the current undisputed CW champ and ranked HW Adamek. He beat Tarver and Johnson twice and both are former Lightheavyweight champs. If someone stops Chad Dawson, this guy becomes number 1 and Dawson number 2. I dont understand why hes not ranked though. He has beat the best around and deserves to be there way more then some of the current guys He also has the kind of style that wins fights and has great skills

exactly, seems like todays boxing fans only point out the stuff they want to see basically they would say "lets forget about Dawson's overall dominating performance against Adamek and only focus on the knock down" then some how they parlay that into "Dawson has a weak chin because Adamek dropped in late in that fight" despite the fact that he got right back up and still won the fight :nonono: Yea I see that alot. He's beatable contrary to what his hardcore fans will have you believe on here. If you pay attention to his style he doesn't land any effective punches hardly. I think Tarver had close to the same percentage of punches landed in both fights against him because Tarver was catching a lot of punches on his gloves. In fact somebody made a thread about it and showed a gif of Dawson throwing a five punch combination that didn't even hit the mark once on Tarver. His right hand is weak. Dawson is already prove so if he were to lose it would just be because he lost, he would still be considered good. I assume from your location you might be a Pascal or Bute fan and might be predicting them to beat Dawson but if they did it would just mean Dawson lost to a really good fighter. One who couldn't beat Froch? Props for Dawson going into the lion's den though.

IMO Dawson is for real but Jacobs was on many list has a future star and he lost his first real test. I don't want to compare their career, Dawson is WC and Jacobs a Prospect. Again, Dawson is a REAL WC and Jacobs was an untested kid fighting for a title. Will you see Dawson as a "Jacobs" if he lose to a average fighter or will still see him as one of the best P4P. i hope im clear... Is it safe to say that Dawson has beaten guys that are above average? Is it safe to say that Dawson has beaten top guys of his weight-class? So again how can he be the next Jacobs?
