Thank God YOU aren't. No European boxer would ever win a round. :(
Pirog won the first with the cleaner, more effective punches and better ring generalship.
He dominated the second and should have had a knockdown as the ropes held Jacobs up.
I gave Jacobs the close 3rd round as he came back strong.
Pirog won the 4th round.
So counting the knockdown, I had Pirog up 39-36 after 4 rounds.
Same score also, except I gave Jacobs the 4th based on activity, I might have to rewatch that round though. I agree with the K.D.
That doesn't surprise me, what I do know is that Jacobs was gonna tire at some point and Pirog was gonna take it from there. Jacobs was moving a little too much and Pirog was countering/ blocking most of his shots.
Just looking at a report about the fight and all 3 judges gave Jacobs rounds 1, 2 & 4....Hmmmmm very strange!
I know, Imade a comment last night about that. I was telling one of my friends who was over to watch the fights that if the fight goes to the cards, Pirog will get ripped off even if he dominated Jacobs the entire time. I was not surprised when they announced that he was down on all 3 judges' cards....typical corrupt boxing stuff.....I hate how corrupt boxing is, it makes me sick....Jacobs was a "superstar" that HBO was trying to build up and cash in on so of course, he would get "favorable" scores.

why is that strange? he lost the first, clearly won the second, and lost the third and fourth. Easy fight to score, and Jacobs definitely winning before the stoppage.
This is why when you go on the road you got to make sure you take the home fighters soul. Pirog went on the road (foreign country) and on Jacobs promo companies card and crushed him with that devastating KO.
Close rounds will almost always go to the home fighter. Round 3 was very close and could have gone either way, but I thought Jacobs did a little more. Round 4 was also close but I gave it to Pirog slightly.
I had the fight even after 4 rounds.
I know he easily lost round 1, just re-watched it....Makes u wonder wtf tha judges were looking at!
probably the pay check they would receive for robbing the guy
What the ****, what a joke. typical americans fixing the the judges so their guy would get the win even when they were losing. Lucky justice was done in the end. Priog easily won the first round
