Pacquiao-Marquez III/Anti-Margarito Campaign thread

I'm starting this thread because, like many fight fans, I'm disgusted by the Pacquiao-Margarito fight being cooked up by Bob Arum for November 13. No fighter has done less to deserve a fight with Pacquiao than Margarito. After a year and a half licking his wounds after the handwraps disgrace and subsequent humiliation at the fists of Mosley, Margarito is getting a shot at one of the biggest names in the sport. This after skulking into a showdown with an obscure journeyman fighter in Mexico, and attempting to by-pass the CSAC for fear of having his license application refused. The guy who in 2008 was "the most feared man in boxing," was too scared to ask for his license back from the men and women who rightfully took it away. Since the disputed loss in 2008, no fighter deserves a Pacquiao fight more Juan Manuel Marquez. Today he showed what an immense and enduring figure he is in boxing, handing out a hefty walloping to Juan Diaz. After 24 epic rounds against Pacquiao, we know Marquez has his measure. A measure won despite four brutal knock-downs and much spilled blood. The only way for us to get the trilogy bout between these modern legends is to hassle Top Rank and HBO into making it happen at the expense of Pacquiao-Margarito. This is one of boxing's ultimate grudge matches.
