i think if diaz would have fought as aggressor in this fight he would have been more successful cause marquez is looking like he is in his last days. look at his chest he breathing to hard to go to 140 and compete with fresher bigger guys. Fighting as an aggressor is what got him K.O.ed in the first fight. :ninja:

You need to have great stamina to keep fighting like juan did the first 2 rounds. Lookin at his baby fat body, I knew that style wasn't going to last very long.

I wanted Marquez to win but I thought he was very vulnerable towards the end, Diaz just didn't have the power (or fitness). i agree! Marquez is my favorite fighter but he's on his last days i hope he knows when to pack it up and not stick around too long

Diaz should consider calling it a career. Don't really see what more he can avhieve in the sport. Pacquiao would knock JMM out at this point IMO. And I don't know why Lampley keeps saying Jacobs losing is such a shocker. Pirog always had a chance in this fight, and most people who knew of Pirog knew this was a 50/50 fight.

Diaz is not done as a fighter.. he was never at that elite level in the first place. If I were him and hbo lets me, I would keep fighting and keep making that doe.

Man this all went just about how I saw it.....this was not ppv worthy at all. Diaz needs to retire. I agree......

summing up the night: a lackluster win by Guerrero against a non-present Casamayor Jacobs got KTFO by Pirog, who i believe stole the show tonight a discouraging outing from "the Baby bull" and a good performance from Marquez. i say he can easily clean out the 135 division and should face Humberto Soto next.
