How much of the split does Floyd get when he fights Cotto?
Money Talks...Bullshit WALKS!
:boxing:
60-40 is fair. 65 at most for floyd.
cotto still brings in the pr fans.
No way Miguel gets disrespected for anything less than 35% of the split. He's not some unknown bum w/o a fan base. But i doubt this fight will even happen.
70-30 for Floyd is not out of the question, Miguel got a bad deal against Pac so why should he get a REALLY good deal against Floyd?

After all the chasing he made Pacquiao do, he is suddenly not retiring now? To fight a fighter Pacquiao ko'd. Tell me you are joking.
Well Pacquiao fought him when Cotto got TKO'd by Marg.
I see a pattern here...
I figure he'd get 65%. Which would be another great payday for Cotto and another ridiculous payday for Mayweather and this fight will do better than Pac/Marg and Floyd maintains his #1 market position, while taking a fight with a fighter with diminished skills but with extraordinary drawing power.
Miguel should get 40% of the cut and if Mayweather bitches about it, don't fight him. Miguel can make Floyd his second biggest pay day of his career and if he doesn't like the cut then he can fight someone for much less money. People seem to forget that Miguel is a huge name and brings in many buys, people like to see him fight. Pac/Clottey=700k buys Pac/Cotto=1.25 million, Miguel was that extra 600,000 buys.
People thought Cotto-Pacquiao would be competitive and it wasn't, Cotto got dominated and embarrassed. That's going to put people off buying Cotto PPV's.
Id say 60/40 Floyd because he is the bigger name and is unbeaten. Cotto is a warrior and does not need to be disrespected plus he now has a belt.
I bet that Cotto takes the tests No problem.
I dont think he will beat Floyd but the fight should happen.
