“For denying them this fight, boxing fans should never buy another Floyd Mayweather fight as long as they live,”-- UFC president Dana White

Don't you just love it when a shallow trash talker gets put in his place? Well, that's pretty much what another big trash talker and UFC president Dana White is doing to Floyd Mayweather Jr. right now after the latter continued to duck a fight against boxing's best fighter Manny Pacquiao.
There's no love lost between the two Las Vegas residents White and Mayweather. Mayweather had said a lot of ignorant and negative comments about the UFC and mixed martial arts in the past which White understandably took offense to.
This week, White got his chance to pay Mayweather back as he blasted him for not fighting Pacquiao. In an article published by Caged Insider's Ray Ibanez,
White bumped into Mayweather at the Hard Rock Casino in Vegas and asked, “When’s this fight gonna happen?” referring to the failed Pacquiao-Mayweather clash.
Mayweather replied, “What do you care? You got the UFC.”
“I’m a boxing fan,” White shot back.
And then Floyd replied, “Well, I’m not desperate.”
White was also quoted saying, “It’s Floyd Mayweather’s fault You’re supposed to be a professional You claim to be the best in the world, You should take on the best until you retire, cement your place in history.”
White, who started out in boxing, makes absolute sense and it's also one of the main reasons why the UFC has become as popular as it is. The UFC gives their fans the fights they want to see. White has control over who fights who unlike how boxing is set-up where the fighters and various promoters allow their greed and personal motives get in the way of giving fans what they deserve.
Mayweather has talked the talked and has verbally trashed Pacquiao since coming out of retirement together with members of his team and his family. He even came out with a smear campaign that insinuated that the pound for pound king Pacquiao was on performance enhancing drugs but never was able to provide a substantial reason or evidence to back up his claims other than that "they believe he is" or some prehistoric A-side meth myth. In other words, if Barry Bonds has BALCO and Victor Conte and other athletes were linked to doctors smuggling steroids from north of the border, Pacquiao has his voodoo doctor. Don't believe me? Click this (link) to hear the Mayweathers say it themselves.
The things people say when they are scared..
I take everything Dana Whte says about Boxing with a grain of salt... he just likes to talk shit about Boxing whenever he can, its more to promote UFC for him than anything... don't think he gives a fukk about Boxing cause he doesn't.
He just wants one less competitor, he knows last time he went head to head with Floyd Boxing beat him badly in sales, so hes just taking an opportunity to try and eliminate the competition, sorry, just calling it as I see it.
What a ignorate comment to make. Floyd is one of the best boxers of this generation and fans shouldn't buy his fight. I personally don't care for Floyd but encouraging a boycott of any top fighter, regardless of if you like them of not is dumb ass hell.

I think Dana White is a douche but I agree with him when it comes to the title of this thread. I have made the same promise to myself since the Oscar fight and haven't bought another Pretty Boring fight since. Some haters on here talk about the Klitschkos being boring, at least they deliver a 85-92 KO ratio...
Floyd is a good salesman.
It won't work. Ninety percent of the crowd is rooting for his opponent. They want to see him get KTFO. His fights would always sell.
It will never work.
