only report i can remember from the commision said it was a plaster "like" substance.what the hell does that mean?
does anybody know?the bobfather says it wasnt plaster and rito would have no idea that these werent being put in his gloves.so whats hard enough to catch nazim's eye but soft enough that rito wouldnt notice?
Manny Stewerd and Shane Mosely are two people who feel the pads in his gloves were used to protect his hands and not to actually do any damage.
Don't ask me for a link because the comments are from the ring magazine and I don't have a scanner and the copy on hand so I can't show it to you. If you wanna read the interview just find a cop of the ring with the latest interview with Shane. It's like a year old.
All they used was an old pad previously used in the gym, therefore it was a bit moist and dirty.
You were there to witness this? Source? Link? Proof?
As i said in the bet thread, I'll bet you 80k on the Pac>Marg fight.
Richardson slipped them shits in there and caused that whole circus, the only cheater that night was Shane "The DopeMan" Mosley.
Wow...just wow. :hysterical:

"The panel rejected Margarito's plea of ignorance -- he told the panel that he just held up his hands to be wrapped -- and Capetillo's insistence that he had simply made a mistake during a hearing that lasted more than five hours in Van Nuys.
Che Guevara, the inspector responsible for supervising Margarito's hand wrapping, testified that he had never seen that sort of pad used before, apparently missing it being slipped into the initial wrap before Richardson's objections.
Another inspector, Mike Bray, said during questioning that he had seen the pads and that they were "moist and dirty looking with a white substance smeared across the pad, like a cast plaster."
A Department of Justice senior criminalist who inspected the wrappings under stereomicroscope and X-ray flourescence spectrometer reported calcium and sulfur were discovered, noting the elements make plaster of Paris with the addition of oxygen. The report was dated March 19. "The commission's decision appears to be supported by that report," said Karen Chappelle, the state supervising deputy attorney general for licensing who urged the California commission to revoke the fighter and trainer's licenses. "The only things that are allowed in hand wraps are gauze and tape and those items aren't gauze and tape."

why is their no punishment for those who inspected ritos gloves.im really not understanding this timeline.did nazim see them putting the pad in or it was already in and he asked what it was?
i hadnt looked on google about since that whole mess went down.i only thought of it today cause of arums comments.but what your saying is arum is lying about it not being plaster?
Arum is responsible for promoting and protecting Margarito. You be the judge.
The L.A. examiners office found ingredients used to create plaster of paris. Easy search on google, and I posted that in another thread along with a link proving that was the case.
