Margarito was a cement fist like Trinidad, why the hell will PAC fight this cheat?

Much respect! Marg doesn't deserve a fight period. He is 1-1 in his last 2 fights, including the plaster fiasco. Your point about berto is fair. But, I don't think its fair to look at every fight froma "mega fight" position. From a "champion defending his title" position, tim bradley is universally rated #1 at a weight manny holds the lineal title. He has earned a fight with Manny. Can't argue with your list. But if you sort by "best challenge" cotto is after berto and marg is not on IMO. Not you, but other posters argue that manny always takes on the biggest challenge. Its hard for me to think Bob would risk putting manny in with anyone who could beat him and ruin a potential floyd fight. As long as manny was in with a top rank fighter (except Valero rip) it looks fishy. This is where pwill comes in. Manny fights him and me and every other floyd fan can't say a damn thing. Win or lose he doesn't damage the floyd fight and he absolutely wins the media battle because he takes on the guy floyd wont (likely) ever fight, and he makes paul and (by default) sergio martinez more attractive fighters. Well, i definitely agree with you there about PWill. I also believe that if Pac fights PWill it would help him immeasurably media-wise. Well, i'm not actually trying to justify anything. Nor am i judging anyone. You apparently believe Marg doesn't deserve a fight with Pac and i will respect your opinion and won't argue with you there. as for bradley and berto, i believe that they would need to face more challengers and step up their game before they can pose a serious challenge for Pac. As they stand now, i don't think they can last 12 rounds with him. Besides, i'm sure there are so many other fighters out there who feel they equally deserve a shot at fighting bradley and berto just as much as bradley and berto believe they deserve a shot at pac. If this was a 150 lb fight for no title I wouldn't care. That this is for the 154 lb title, between 2 guys (one who is has a susp lisc in california) who are 1-1 at the weight is disgusting. Shane being an American and apologizing definitely helps. Marg not only got caught, got his ass beat but made a hollow excuse denying any responsibility. Very good points there. So i guess Mosley got treated better mainly because he admitted to taking the PEDS and Marg insisted on his innocence. Also, the image of Cotto's bloodied face does Marg no favors. I'm not sure about the other Pac fans, but i personally don't mind Marg facing Pac. But that's my opinion. Fair point but Shane has at least admitted what he did. Marg is still going with the "I didn't know story".That is an important distinction. Also, loaded gloves, within boxing, IMO is a greater sin then PED use. Not so much a race issue but a jingoistic one. Shane is an American. While I believe Marg was born in the US, he has spent most of his life in Mexico. Why not just stay there and fight? Boxing in the US for big money is not a right. The last difference, which is HUGE, is all boxing fans claimed Shane was the guy Floyd HAD to face to prove everything he was saying that he was the best ww in the world. Fan demand for the Marg fight Pac is nonexistent. Very few, if any, objected to Shane fighting Floyd because of his steroid use. A large percentage of fans, including (surprisingly) Pac fans, are against Marg getting this fight. Very good points there. well.. Mosley did admit taking something although he didn't know what it was (according to him) but he took the blame while Margarito completely denies everything, saying he didn't know something was on his wraps (wtf?) All true. I won't even argue if Mosley actually knew what he did was illegal (Conte says he informed Mosley about it being illegal). Some say Conte was lying, some say Mosley. I don't have the interest to take sides in this particular issue. Same thing about Marg not knowing he had something on his wraps. But it doesn't change the fact that they were both tainted for cheating. And that both the media and the fans are treating Marg with utter disdain and Mosley with kid gloves.
