How is Cotto vs Berto not easy to make?

The one who benefits from this fight more would be Berto IMO. A win would give him the rights to face Floyd or Manny. An impressive win by Cotto only means he has recovered form his losses.

Its not easy to make cause berto still owes collazo a much needed rematch. I would rather see that fight than the cotto fight. Berto isn't Mayweather. Haymon knows Cotto is a bigger star, so negotiating shouldn't and wouldn't be a big issue as far as purse splits are concerned. Plus, Haymon is an adviser, he's not Berto's promoter. Dibella and Arum have a good working relationship. With that being said, I'd much rather see Cotto vs Berto than Cotto vs Vanes. The fight won't happen. They are promoted by a-holes that are more concern about been the top promoter and not giving us the best fights. Pretty stupid because the way to the top is bringing the best fights, but they get it their way or the hight way. Promoters should be extint and allow our smart boxers and managers to make the deal. The only way is eliminating the middleman.

This is a fight us fans really want to see. have it at 147, where Cotto belongs IMO, for the WBC belt, a title Cotto has never won. Have it 60-40 in Cottos favor, and give us fans a good fight for once. Top Rank is starting to really annoy me. I think from a business stand point Berto hasn't built his name up.
