At this point, one would think Margo would be eager to take Pacquiao out to establish himself at the top of the Super Welter division after having had to bare the burden of the year suspension and subsequent backlash from all directions.
The tables would turn if Margo has the wherewithal to beat Pacquiao and end up as the WBA super welter champ.
That will automatically put a damper on the May-Pac fight. Could possibly set up a Margarito-May fight at 154 for a title shot.
Could the Pac-Margo fight be a segue to Pacquiao's exit from the sport due to his political obligations?
What ya think?
what happens if margarito beats pac??
pactards will commit mass suicide like cult members, except their leader CungLe, he will be on boxingscene annoying the **** out of ppl with his countless threads.
Lol. A lot of people would surprised and won't believe it was ever possible.

What if, Margarito didn't cheat in the Cotto fight and what if his performance against Mosley was an abberation because he was trully weight drained and was disturbed by what happened in the dressing room and what if we see the version of Margarito that fought Cotto and presuming he didn't use illegal wraps in that fight, he comes in determined to walk his man down again.
That would be what if.
It really just seems implausible.
That's what many are hoping he'll be out to prove. That it was all a fluke.
He is being given that chance.
this is a glamorized sparring session... if anything Manny sparring partners are better than Margarito
Do you think the outcome will be the way Oscar did against Manny?

I think it may be over for him after this as far as being a star. I'm pretty sure he'll continue to box, but the hype train won't be following him. After this if he wants to get big fights he'll have to work hard back up the ladder UNLESS Cotto calls him up for a revenge match.
Yeah. He's very fortunate to be placed in this position. If he screws it up, that might be it, unless Bob keeps him in position to continue reaping some more rewards.
I don't disagree 'cause it doesn't seem fair to other much more worthy fighters.
So he'll either flop in his next outing or look good enough to change some minds.
That remains to be seen. He'll either stick around and beat the top contenders or he'll be relegated to journeyman status.

I think Arum thinks he can sell ice to an Eskimo, usually it works out for him because he is pretty good at selling fights but not always.
He's a smart old dude.
He should have had to work his way back up IMO. He gets suspended and then rewarded with a gift belt and then gets one of the top two biggest fights he can possibly get. He'll get his chance on November 13th...

I really don't think Arum cares what we think or if it will be competitive. Even if the fight does so-so he gets a great take because he's getting money from both fighters. I truly believe that's all he cares about.
I gotcha. What can we do but watch?
Know what? Margo did the time which most think was fair. The onus is on him to prove he can remain on top with his next showing. The spotlight will be on him.
He deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Due to inactivity, I say Arum should've matched Margo up with someone other than Pacquiao since most perceive this as a non-competitive fight. Maybe to Arum the higher weight justifies the competitiveness.

Who needs skill when you have cement in your gloves and your jab hits like an overhand right ?
What has he done without cement besides get exposed ?

Manny will smash Margarito's iron chin.
Floyd will have more excuses after that. Or Floyd will go into hiding like he's under a Witness protection program.
"Margarito's iron chin"????? Mosley already caved it in. Typical "little dick Flip" thinking. Pac will fight someone only after somebody else has already fukked them up and then act like a tough guy. In my neigborhood, only pussys go after someone somebody else has already crushed.

You don't become 3 time WW champ and whoop top fighters with no skills asshole.

It's very possible. Margarito is dying to be the Mexican hero. He had the look after the Cotto win, yet ruined it all with the bricks. How else can you become the Mexican legend when you beat the Mexicutioner? I don't think it can get any better than that...
