Are you expecting Alexander to fight in a similar manner to the way Khan fought Kotelnik or do you think he'll be more aggressive and possibly stop him?
Khan didn't look all that impressive, in fact a lot of people on here weren't impressed. All Khan did was use his size and superior athletic ability to win on activity alone. Khan didn't land many clean shots, but I must say he used the perfect strategy against Kotelnik who shells up.
Another thing, Kotelnik is actually a lot better then people give him credit for. Khan was just a bad style matchup for him, but he's actually a pretty good boxer. Still, Alexander should win comfortably. Just not expecting him to look impressive.
all I am saying that in my opinion Alexander needs to KO Kotelnik cuz Khan won every single round and if he is the one who carrys Floyd Mayweather s tourch then you better stop Kotelnik
And I think he will do that by uppercut again!
More aggression from Alexander than he normally brings. He's pissed off at Bradley's unwillingness. He's gonna bring some fury into this fight and try to make a statement for himself, not just win. I never been impressed by Kotelnik. I think Alexander will stop him before the 10th.
Also, Maidana couldn't put a dent in Kotelnik's armore, even resorted to trying to win on activity. I swear, I couldn't stop laughing as I watched that. He then started trying to give angles; doing the Gamboa poses, he really didn't know what to do :lol1:
Of course I'm not using this to measure up on anything. Alexander obviously throw his punches alot more straighter then Maidana. Just that I myself don't view Alexander as a big puncher, he's a decent puncher in my opinion. So I envision Kotelnik constantly coming foward and Alexander's punching having no effect.
I just see Kotelnik head getting snapped back non stop with Jabs.

ALEXANDER needs to put a woopin on KOTELNIK and KO d him cuz KHAN won every single round !

It'll be a 1 sided thrashing.
I've talked about the shell defense fighters shortcomings many times before. Alexander will make Kotelnik look very, very average and if he catches him in between transition (Devon has the timing, accuracy, and poise to do it), he could stop him. Ukranians usually have good chins though.
Cant see him stopping Kotelnik.
I also think that because of his style, that Alexander will engage Kotelnik more than he would like.
Key weapon will prolly be Alexander's jab imo, he will most likely be able to control and set things up better.
