"I’m willing to fight anyone including, Tim Bradley, Amir Khan, Marcos Maidana, Devon Alexander, the winner of Marquez vs. Diaz etc. I’ll fight anyone!"
Well he didn't duck a rematch with a guy who beat him to a pulp the 1st time around, so I am inclined to think he wouldn't be hesitant to fight the best.
Didn't he decline a Campbell fight?

Campbell still wanted the fight to happen but Guzman ducked out.
Yeah hes fearless.
He was so confidential about a rematch he came in overweight to make sure he didn't get his ass kicked.
Guzman has been calling out the best fighter since i knew him and no one seem to wanted get in the ring with him ....Freddy Roach has a interview out saying he want all his fighter to stay away from Guzman ....smh.............so that being said I think it more than a weight issue that these fighter dont wanted get in the ring with him
:lol1:.......:nonono:
I'd like to see that interview, if he would've gotten a shot at Pacquiao or JMM his career would've been another story.
only a fukking gullible idiot would come up with that line of thought.
after the nate campbell disaster, his career went into the shitter.
of course he would say it. his career is in shambles. guzman got bills to pay & mouths to feed. he would say anything & do anything.
but you act like hes been doing that recently. guzman has always called out the best ! guys avoid him.

ALL the 140lbs fighters talk shit... they delay things for hype and never get stuff signed.. **** them all.

im sure he can weigh 140.. hes currently in the 140's hes been training evryday intensively but people noticed things wrong with him such as fatigue etc. he got a blood test to sort things out thier treating him at this time. but november 5th looks to be his next fight date i spoke with him myself and his trainer lee beard a few minutes ago
Against who? I heard rumors of him fighting on ESPN next.
funeka probably cheated the first time around. do you know any other boxer thats 6'1 135 pounds..he simply couldnt take the weight off funeka seemed perfectly fine with the weight guzman was...since he aparently cheated because he couldnt make it either.. he couldve probably took steroids for performance reasons
Oh, I see...it was a diuretic that Funeka took, I don't think it was steroids. This isn't the first time Guzman has come in overweight either and there was no way in heck he won the first fight with Funeka. As to your question, what about this guy?

“The Truth” about Jorge Teron

Jerry Glick reporting: Jorge “The Truth” Teron is a freak of nature. He is six feet tall, handsome, a once beaten boxing prodigy who is considered to be a pretty good bet to be a world champion in the not too distant future. So why is he a freak of nature? Because all of his 72” height weighs only 135 solid pounds; Teron is a six foot lightweight contender.
Unbeaten in his first 23 fights, 22 wins and a draw with 15 knockouts, Teron dropped a close controversial decision to tough Aldo Valtierra, from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico at the Roseland Ballroom, in New York City. Like the pro that he is, Jorge makes no excuses about that fight. He lost because he didn’t do the things that he was supposed to do.
“Got over it,” said Teron. “There were a lot of things that I did wrong that night.” Regardless, he thought he managed to edge his opponent out.
“I thought the big eighth round that I had would swing it my way,” lamented the man called The Truth. “It was a real close fight.”
Funeka Guzman II and Guzman-Campbell...nuff said. He isn't disciplined.
he even made a documentary "life of a champion" guzman said he cant wait till a network picks it up to see how hard he trains.. its not that he cant get the weight off its that his body doesnt allow him him to burn the nessesary weight because of low testosterone levels causing him to fatigue much sooner
I guess, if you consider coming in over weight for a fight to ensure you don't lose to a guy that already beat you but got ripped off by the judges not being a pu55y

Irrespective of the initial weight issues, didn't they work something out where by Guzman could still of fought Campbell but he declined?
guzman was dehydrated for over training..he tried way to hard to make the weight his body shutdown on him.
