Why is Mosley-Mora PPV?

on top of the fight not being that great to begin with the r. marquez juanma fight will be on showtime that same night so there goes the mexican independence day audience that gbp thought they were going to get.

because showtime and hbo didn't buy it. when tv doesn't buy it , it has to be ppv or else no one can watch it at all. ppv is not just for big fights. ppv is for big fights that tv can't afford or don't want to buy. good point...it could be 24.99....i probably get it free on superchannel

If Calderun can be on a PPV mainevent why not Mosley and Mora? Mora has changed his style to please the public (something calderun should think about, but hes selfish and doesnt care if the audience gets there moneys worth) and Mosley is somewhat entertaining. And if the undercard is good, well im buying. Unlike the calderun undercard which probably has the MCDONALD brothers (mcwilliams and the other mcbro)..

That PPV will do alright imo. From what I've read Canelo/Ortiz and maybe Mares will all be on the under card.

An old school promoter mentality is to figure a way to get that dollar out of your pocket and into theirs. If pesented well, people would buy anything.

Because Mosley has a high minimum purse that he has to get paid for a fight. HBO can buy the fight and put it on the network, but why would they give Mosley 1+ million to face Mora?
