i didnt say i mentioned urango.. but its a name that people have thrown out thier... since judah needs another tier fighter to fight before facing the top guys..
My guess would be that Judah would take a title fight as soon as he could get one. But if he did need another fight, Guzman is a difficult opponent to look good against. Urango is a threat to put out Zab's lights with one punch, but he is also slow and a better showcase opportunity for him than Guzman.
Guzman has a proven history of not making weight. It caused one fight to be cancelled at the last minute and another one to be changed to a non title fight. You really think TV networks forget something like that from someone who brings almost nothing to the table? Guzman does have skills and is tough. But he has never been in anything resembling a fight of the year. Going up in weight has diminished his power to almost non existent.
he actually does have power. but lost confidence in his punch...and he wasnt planting his feet when he threw punches or turn his punches over.. or punching with his knuckles. he did in the funeka fight..lee beard is the best thing that has happend to guzman in a long time.
I just re-read the thread, and I didn't see Juan Urango's name mentioned until your post. Urango has seen better days, but he would at least have a punchers chance against Judah. He'd be a reasonable opponent for Guzman too, on a minor cable TV card.

okay so urango has something to offer him coming off a ko loss to alexander? if he wants to fight the top guys just like guzman does then they should fight each other.. this is not about marketibility. understand the thread i think you should read it over

in 12 weeks weighing 148 you can easely make 140.. i have connections to evrything related to guzman.. in terms of boxing.. and you telling me a guy that can box and has toughness and stands to fight boring ?

It may be a competitive fight, but Guzman has nothing to offer Judah at this point. Zab has a lot more marketability.

TV networks don't want Guzman on because he has proven to be too unreliable to make weight. Not to mention he is boring as hell too.

i dont like that fight, simply because I like both fighters and a loss would pretty much be the end for one of these talented fighters. I do think Guzman would slightly struggle, but overall would win.
yea i beleive at first he will struggle with the speed. but it all comes down to guzmans physical shape

the lower tier 140 lbers should have their own round robin tourney. guys like: zab, guzman, ortiz, kotelnik, campbell, etc...
This is a great idea. The winner would definitely have a case to being in the top 5.
This is a zab judah fight that I would be interested in, he should fight guzman or ortiz before the big guys.
I'd make Ortiz a solid favorite over Zab.
Guzman-Judah is a toss-up.
sounds interesting.. but zab is washed up.. guzman has a few years left in him.. campbell is retired.. kotelnik will get beat in 12 rounds once agian only by alexander who i think has a chance of koing him but idk since maidana couldnt even do it. but this only interests me not the rest of the boxing world. hbo wont make any $$ from it.
it don't have to be on hbo. they can do it on sp!ke (lols, the board auto censored the word ****e), espn, or foxsports. I'll watch these fights.
