Maybe its our fault as fans why boxing is f*cked right now

Basically boxing is a giant stalemate right now and heres why i think this is happening 1) People are buying garbage, like a big name fighting a chubby eastern-european who nobody has even heard of 2) People lose interest once someones lost a fight (like shane mosely right now or margarito after he lost to mosely) so promoters dont want to lose boxers fanbase I mean at the end of the day we can blame promoters all we want but they're there to make money, so why risk his boxers career when he can fight 2 weak opponents instead and make more money than a big fight? The only way this can stop is if TV stations start demanding big fights (so far HBO has come closest to this, but at the end of the day they still make figures for one sided fights) or fans grow some loyalty to boxers rather than bandwagoning on the next great thing. Take UFC, many of the best fighters have multiple losses but still have a massive fan following, why should boxing be different?
