Most of you probably saw this, but for those who didn't, Brian Kenny and Dan Rafael said negotiations will continue should Mayweather want to "continue" to negotiate.
In layman's terms, tonight's deadline isn't really a deadline, but merely forcing Mayweather to sound off on whether he's still interested to fight Pacquiao or not. Video and article to come.
Floyd has rejected Pac's bullshit offer.
Arum is announcing Pac vs. Margacheato in another country.
My Mayweather sources are never wrong. Remember I told you guys he was fighting Mosley before the media reported the fight being a done deal.
Floyd will fight Martinez at 160 if the money is the right. The fight should take place in December if they can agree to a split, OSDT, and guarantee money. Floyd is willing to fight Sergio if the money is there and Sergio is willing to do whatever it takes to get the fight done. If they can't agree to a fight, Floyd will take the rest of the year off and wait for Pac to give in again early next year and beat his ass in MGM Grand. I don't think it happens because Sergio should be fighting Williams again.
This will be a deadline, as Arum has several other options (Cotto, Margarito). If it was the only real option then yes, he would be flexible should Floyd want to negotiate after.
But I don't think Arum would want to be seen backing down from his own deadline, especially if other options exist which are still lucrative due to the money staying within Top Rank.
For real, wheres the national media attention for this?? Bigger than LeBron's decision, that's for sure.
Put it this way, the media are in the dark about this, therefore not much of a discussion in the news....but something tells me they're really preparing the announcement very carefully.
The 'suspense' is 'killing' me. Everyone talks about it since 'The Decision'.

An hour and a half till the "deadline". Hopefully they don't goof this one up...lol.
