I had seriously forgotten that Chris's full name was Cristobal as he's rarely called it. But I think it would have jerked my memory had Mike not said it in such an aprehensive, mumbled and lispy way to be not very clear.
As for white tyson, fancy a fighter nick named as your full name, and not knowing his name. Think about it for a second.
He seemed a lot more chirpy and sharp in some ways, and said some nice and inspirational things. But he also didn't seem completely clear thinking/speaking. Tad punchy.
most fighters are punchy when they get older. there just arent many that do anything after they retire. they just usually let themselves go. thats why ive got no problem with the ones like bhop and holyfield because they stay in tremendous shape. look at what the retired ones do and what they sound like. they may as well just keep fighting.
Look much love and respect to Tyson, especially to the man he is today la la la.
But come on..he says:
1. Fight Chris Abola. Who the feck is Chris Abola?
2. Fight them other guys, like errr, I forget his name, the white Mike Tyson. WTF?
3. Demonstrate your skills and build yourself (Mike doesn't sound like he's seen many Haye fights or realise how long he's been calling out the Klit's, or that he wants to retire next year.
Legendary quote that Reed's rightly pointed out, but man, you can't pretend like Mike is completely up to date and boxing anymore, he clearly isn't anywhere near as interested in following it these days. Fair play to him, still a legend.
You knew exactly what he meant with 1 and 2. three well you know lol
just watched sky sports news, saw a bit more of the interview with mike that wasnt on that link.
He was asked about what he thought of multiple weight divisions, and if he thought 1 belt per divison was better.
He said no, that fighters needed the belts to make money, but the all divisions should hold a tournemant like the super 6 (pretty sure he said it was LMW though instead of SMW) and unify the titles, then split them up, then unify them again.
Good for fighters and fans i suppose.
Mike got it right, he is talking about Chris Arreola, Cristobal is his full name, maybe Mike just wasn't pronouncing it right lol but regardless still a good interview

He was saying Cristobal...
Great Interview! I agree with everything Mike said, it is absolutely NO PERSONALITY in the Heavyweight Division right now, I loved the video when Wlad called out David Haye, I think he should do more of that, it really doesn't have to be trash talking but just show more personality
and he is right about David Haye, he needs to establish himself first before taking on the Klitchko's, you can't just jump into the ring with the Klitchko's after only what...3 Heavyweight fights in his career so far, Mike is right, fight some of the guys they have already fought
Look much love and respect to Tyson, especially to the man he is today la la la.

Mike Tyson believes David Haye should establish himself in the heavyweight division before taking on the Klitschkos.
Tyson, one of the most feared heavyweights in history, told Sky Sports that current WBA champion Haye needs more experience before attempting to unify the titles.
"He's good, he's a good fighter," said the 45-year-old. "He has to establish himself as a champion.
"Believe it or not, he has to beat the likes of Chris Arreola, he has to beat all these guys.
"He doesn't have to beat the Klitschko guys, he's got to beat the up and coming guys like Arreola and the Russian guys.
"He has to establish himself and then fight the Klitschkos."
Tyson also insisted he had no future in the fight game, scotching recent rumours that he might return to the ring to fight Evander Holyfieldfor a third time.
"I don't have anything in the future that I want - I just want to raise my kids and pay my bills," he added.
"Why would I want to be a manager or promoter? They only steal your money, at least that's my experience, and why would I want to do that?
"I'm not interested in getting back in the ring, not at all. I'm pretty much a pacifist as much as anything now.
"As long my kids respect me and call me 'Dad' and not by my first name, I'm happy."

Wow, a surprisingly lucid and introspective interview. Thanks!
I cannot see it, but I expect this to be very amusing.
