that's what floyd always does. pac's style isn't gonna last and pac doesn't have the kind of technique to keep going for another couple of years. floyd is gonna wait until pac looks vulnerable, then he'll try and make the fight. Pac will probably take it (even tho he shouldn't) because there will be too much money in it.
kinda like the bhop/rjj II fight except floyd won't wait for pac to get KTFO 3-4 times first.

well that technique will not gonna work with pac because pac will surely retire after his november fight. Believe me. That's why this is floyd last chance, he need to accept this fight or else we'll never see this fight.
and 3 of those 5 manny fought..t 2 after floyd already fought them and 1 manny ducked...
Manny didnt ducked no one.
Floyd ducked winner of Cotto Mosley and Pacquiao killed Cotto!
He ducked him cuz Cotto lives in Puerto Rico.
Floyd would suffer the more the longer he waits. He won't lose his ability to out think an oppenent but his relfexes, stamina & speed won't exactly stay the same years to come.
floyd can always fall back on his ring intelligence just like bhop.
once pac is just a little past his prime, he will be done.
that's what floyd is counting on.
Sadly, I do now feel that if the November date is not made, then Floyd is ducking Pacquiou.
I completely supported Floyd in pushing for all the drugs testing last time out, I like the idea of cleaning the sport up this way. But if he doesn't accept a 50 50 purse split and the November date with Manny's agreed testing deadlines, I will feel that Floyd has been ducking all along.
Everyone wants to see this fight now, I really hope Floyd signs.
You must be a moron if you really think Floyd was trying to clean up the sport LOL.
naw you're stupid..floyds older, has had more fights, has bad hands..if anything floyd would suffer more the longer he waits..stop making up excuses..its lame
nigguh you stupid. this thread ain't about floyd's age in comparison to pac's age.
y'all nigguhs are stupid. this thread got nothing to do with floyd's age in comparison to pac's age.
it's about floyd waiting for pac to get old and past his prime while floyd sits by in semi-retirement and then takes advantage of pac when pac is older and past his prime.
I'm just saying how is it fighter A's fault that fighter B can't seem to avoid taking punishment? Fighter B has a style that the fans love and fans say can beat fighter A so their should be no excuses.
Why are you asking me whose fault it is?
It's nobodies fault, it's just reality.
You seem to be pulling an agenda from my post when there isn't one.
I'll acknowlede that Pacquiao took more punishment in his career but Mayweather is older and has been boxing since out of the womb. Those punches Mosley hit PBF with in rnd 2 were probably harder than anything Pac has ever been touched by in his career. I thought Floyd was gonna get KTFO but he surprised me with his heart. No excuses please chups your usually better than this.:beerchug:
End of the day - All fighters are different
It comes down to Age { Castillo, Barrera, Morales - Mental frame { Diaz } - Style of fighting { guys like Tyson and frazier had early fame but as time went on there style couldnt hold up } - Hows your body feeling overall
I don't know why your asking me this, because you replied to a post that has nothing to do with Floyd or Manny.

Larry if you make a poll on who is more war torn, Pacquiao will win.
Pacquiao had a decent amateur record.

How is that Floyd's problem if Manny isn't good enough to get out of the way of a fist coming for his dome?
I don't know why your asking me this, because you replied to a post that has nothing to do with Floyd or Manny.
And also the style....and a good example is Hopkins and other counterpunchers who didn't get hit a lot. Reason why JMM is still fighting at a high level while Morales and Barrera are spent.
Yeah, definitely style...
floyd never waited for anyone to get old. he called out both DLH and mosley in their primes and both turned him down, he wasnt a big name back then yet a very dangerous challenge. then when floyd fought his way to becoming #1 p4p they were willing to fight him, u can say floyds wins over them arent as great as they would have been if shane and oscar were younger, but u cant say he waited for them to get old cuz thats simply not true.
that said theres no reason to think hes doing it with manny. floyd has just as much wear and tear on his body as manny does given that hes literally been boxing since before he could stand up, even though he hasnt been in as many wars as manny.
The amount of fights, along with training camps also needs to be taken into consideration.
The volume of wear and tear on your body.
Actually, Roy Jones - Antonio Tarver is an excellent example of that.
While they are only two months apart in age, when they fought.. Tarver had a short AM. record and only had about 24 pro fights at the time, while Roy had over 130 am. fights and was going into his 51st pro fight.
Even right now, at 41... Tarver is still relatively young in terms of his body.. he only has about 33 pro fights right now.
