Why is Paul Williams doing everything in his power to avoid a Martinez rematch?

First Martinez whoops Pavlik and kills any chance of P.Will whooping Kelly himself, then he goes and says hes waiting for a Pacquiao fight which will never ever ever happen. What will he say next? Hes fighting Bad Chad then moving to cruiser, he seems intent on not fighting Martinez, who deserves a rematch ASAP because of how close the 1st fight was. Whats this dudes problem, hes the Mariah Carey of boxing.

Goossen rather try to cash him out now after those back to back scares he's suffered, even if he's wasting his time. They know that Sergio and HBO will want the fight whenever he's ready to come back to the table. Asking 50/50 from Pavlik was a mistake and this will turn out to be a waste of time.

Who else has he ducked that would lead you to believe he's ducking Martinez? His first loss led to an immediate rematch and a first round blowout. I'd say give the dude a bit more time before releasing the D-word into the wilderness of Boxingscene's message board.

because he knows he got a gift decision and doesn't want martinez whooping that ass again. Sure, it's more than possible that Williams believes he lost the first time around. But I don't recall Williams ever turning down a rematch or avoiding Martinez. Calling people out is not Williams style because no one wants to fight him anyways. I am sure he would love his shot at Martinez's Middleweight title.

Love him or hate him, Williams never ducked anyone in his life. No one has the balls that Williams has, except for Cotto.

knock it off. Sergio already stated after beating Pavlik that he will rematch Pavlik first and that Mayweather may be an option. Nothing to do with PWill. Sergio's plate is already full.
