Donaire got skills but needs to fight better people. He could fare well at 118. i dont think he has the punching power to hurt anyone good at 126. fightin at 122 seems like a good option where his power would be decent.
I don't know how Donaire is ranked #4 P4P when there are three fighters at 118 that have a better resume than him. Montiel, Hasegawa, Mares (I said it, his fight with Perez was close, but I thought he edged it). They all have better fighters on their resume than Vic Darchinyan. And they fight at the weight class where they don't tower over everyone.
Gee, The flomos are now trolling even none Floyd-Pac threads
SUUUUURRREEE................MOntiel and Hazegawa KHTFO!!!! You bet's beleive that!!!
(Borat's voice) Gud re-sponse .......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Nooooooooooooooooooooooooottttttttttttttttttttttt
Where did I mention Montiel, Hasegawa, or even 118?
Your response was pure buffoonery that had nothing to do with my actual post, but I'll still respond...
Donaire has very impressive talent and skills that you can't disprove and wouldn't be disproved even if he got knocked out by Montiel or Hasegawa. Zab Judah's lost 6-7 fights, yet anyone that actually knows what they're talking about can see his tremendous talent and skills regardless of his losses and unfulfilled potential.
STOP the hating dude pls! MONTIEL is an awesome boxer and a good sportsman HAZEGAWA a bit over rated
but we can not hide the fact that DONAIRE is so slick with fast feet and hands if he can carry he's power to the BANTAM weight division he can give MONTIEL serious problems.
i wouldn't say hasegawa was overrated before fighting montiel,he has skills, and won every round before he got caught against montiel. In a rematch i say hasegawa wins a ud.
I love everything about this guy, but that kid he beat tonight looked like he was 2 weight classes smaller.
Time to move up already.
True Donaire struggled all the til thursday to make weight. Can Donaire do good against somebody like Yonnhy Perez or Abner Mares
You can shit on his resume and opposition after Darchinyan, but his talent and skills are very impressive.
He's already shown it, especially against Darchinyan and Martinez.
He doesn't deserve his spot in the P4P rankings yet, but nobody wanted it at 112 or 115. At 112, nobody wanted to face 1 of the biggest flyweights, who also happened to be 1 of the fastest, strongest, powerful, and best counter punchers. 115 was barren when he moved up and except for Darchinyan (who scrapped it at the end) no other name was there.

I wasn't impressed w/ him in the southpaw stance but in the orthodox stance I seen a big difference and I really liked his skill set and he has really good movement. I just wish he would keep his hands higher.
Oh . . . His wife is really hot!
