that Cotto was weight drained if the Cotto - Pacquiao rematch does happens and it's at 147 or higher and Cotto manages to beat Pacquiao? I mean would that validate the excuses that Cotto was weight drained and didn't have a strong corner since Cotto has also changed his trainer?
Why don't we make these excuses for every single boxer who has ever lost a fight? I can understand these assumptions if the fight was close, but c'mon!
Weight-drainage, shot, past-prime, corner, damaged good....
Does Pac have to kill a man in the ring to get the props he deserves????
I'm asking if the excuses are valid if that situation happens, not making the excuses up myself.

Actually not only do we but every fighter that losses makes excuses as well...
I give Cotto credit for not making that excuse.

It could be said.
But, it also could be said that for the first time in a very long time he finally is being trained by a real trainer... And, is benefiting by it.
Even for years under Evangelista he was training himself since him and his uncle didn't get along.
