Previously, i made a thread asking if HGH has benefits for boxers taking it 14 days just prior to a fight. I felt that i should simply broaden my question to include EPO, ROIDS, BLOOD DOPING etc.
So here's my REVISED QUESTION:
Is there any scientific evidence showing significant benefits for BOXERS roiding up just two weeks or 14 days before the fight? (this includes EPO, ROIDS, BLOOD DOPING and any other drug i didn't mention).
So far, all i've gotten is proof that for banned substances like EPO to be effective, one has to take it regularly FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AHEAD. Even then, there are valid questions if these actually benefit boxers.
Why 14 days? Well, since Pac is asking for a 14 day window for the random blood tests, let us simply assume, FOR THE SAKE OF CONVERSATION, that he really is doping, and since he will be tested randomly UP TO 14 DAYS BEFORE THE FIGHT, thus the 14 day window. If so, is there scientific proof that he'd actually benefit for doping just 14 days before the fight?
All i'm asking for is hard scientific evidence. No conjectures, guesses, opinions or statistics taken from thin air. I'm looking for EVIDENCE, FACTS and links for scientific journals or studies.
Go do your homework. Come back soon.
lol so what's my lead? that epo can be very, very hard to detect if you stop blood testing at certain point.
Its enough to get the process going and it would "enhance" his abilities, by how much I'm not sure but even a little is enough for me to aim for no grace period.
Come back when you know what that is, the different variations (generations), and can compare and contrast to other forms of blood doping. That's your HW.
Peace.
lmao you're too tight...is it really hard for you to share your well-researched knowledge on peds? :loser:

Like all the other flomos who owned themselves on that vote, IMAZED has zero credibility on the 14-day thing.
Like Sarah Palin, he was for it before he was against it LMFAO.
You aren't fooling anyone, son. Your agenda is crystal clear.
The more desperately you post in these threads, the deeper the hole you keep digging for yourself.
Keep it up though!
:lol1:
You tried too hard. Now it's time for you to be sonned. Just because I voted 14 days was fair (more than fair), doesn't mean I supported it.

lol you're the peds expert so you tell me...i'm your student right now that's why i'm asking questions. you quiz me later after the lecture:cool2:

What is EPO? Don't copy and paste please.

lol can't you see my point? i actually agree with you that epo can be very, very hard to detect by blood if you stop blood testing mr. peds expert :loser:
Womp womp. Don't catch feelings.
No kidding. What's your point? Should I son you now or later?

there are certain things that you're not going to find in the blood, that you can only find in urine, like most forms of EPO, steroids, designer steroids, insulin....tygart

No...I'm so shocked people aren't understanding what he's saying. Then again, that's what happens when you're looking for proof to support your argument rather than just facts in general. EPO can be detected inurine in within the span of a day. It is very hard to detect it in urine for that reason - it's why most people caught using EPO are caught using the blood test. Which leads to my second point. When he says the transfusions won't give you much concern because it can be detected after 14 days anyway, he is referring to the BLOOD test. Because that is the ONLY test that is reliable over a time period because it isn't looking for a particular PED, it's looking at your hermaticrit levels and RBC. It measures that count over time and the accompanying percentages. Hence, if you stop it the blood testing at a certain point, something like EPO - or any other form of blood doping - can be very, very hard to detect.

That's what I'm looking for. I don't really have an argument about this issue.
It's a shame you cant accept that I genuinely didn't understand. Thanks for explaining it to me. But next time don't make assumptions.
Wait........is it referring to blood transfusion right?

Yes, masked for urine test.
Q: What about blood testing? Could I mask it then?
A: "For transfusions, the 14 days is not going to give you much concern. The evidence of the transfusion will stay in your system longer than the 14 days. But the human growth hormone, for sure not."
lol somebody's not paying attention...must be a severe case of lack of reading comprehension.
Yea I definitely think so :lol1:
Blood transfusion is the process of transferring blood or blood-based products from one person into the circulatory system of another. Blood transfusions can be life-saving in some situations, such as massive blood loss due to trauma, or can be used to replace blood lost during surgery. Blood transfusions may also be used to treat a severe anaemia or thrombocytopenia caused by a blood disease. People suffering from hemophilia or sickle-cell disease may require frequent blood transfusions. Early transfusions used whole blood, but modern medical practice commonly uses only components of the blood.
