I wont complain if they postpone a few months but if Roger's goin' away for awhile Floyd should pick a new trainer (I'm sure he could have anybody except Roach) and get on with it or decline and have done with it.
History of making negotiations impossible? You're suggesting Pacquiao is easy to negotiate with?
Also, Mayweather knew about Rogers issue. Well, Pacquiao knew the 14 day offer had been pulled. You see where I'm going with this?
Well it's obvious your defending mayweather, I'm not defending Pacquiao, I'm defending the fight. Maybe you've misconstrued my post and think I am crazy Pacquiao fan. I'm not i just wanna see the fight. You will obviously trake anything saud about Floyd and flip it and try and defend him.
Last time I checked floyd was the one who has not made a lot of the risky fights the public wants. Pacquiao doesn't have that same track record, you can't say otherwise or your just a Pacquiao hater. I beleive Pacquiao has fougght a lot of the guys Floyd wouldn't and retired instead at a time they were all in there primes.
I beleive the Pacquiao's,Margarito's,Cotto's all fought each other while Floyd retired and as soon as some of them startred losing and Pac was at his peak, Floyd came back on the attack with this steroid witch hunt trying to discredit him( kinda funny how he wasn't worried about cleaning up the sport 40 fights prior) because he didn't like all the attention he was getting and couldn't handle that boxing moved on without him.
Once again I'm not defending Pacquiao, you took it there. I'm just pointing out that all these guys fought each other in there primes while Floyd conveniantl retired when the heat was on for him to take these riskier fights. I'm not saying he would have lost theses fight, but now we will never know will we. We will wait and see if he fights Pacquiao, which i have said from the beginning this fight will never happen, so this is actually not surprising at all.
My question is how do you postpone a fight that hasn't been signed?
If Mayweather's name was on the contract and Roger was sidelined I could understand the fight being delayed because a trainer is vital. But the fact Mayweather didn't want the fight and now using this as a reason doesn't sit well with me.
Hell no. He has his father who can do the same shit. He has his other uncle Jeff, who can do the same shit.
Floyd shouldn't postpone the fight because of his uncle. He knows the deal with his uncle and that shouldn't stop him. That's all I am saying.
If the situation was flipped, i would blame pacquiao. Floyd is the one that has been making this negotiation so impossible. Pac is the one that is more willing to compromise and Floyd has to do the same. They have to meet in the middle for a fight and with fighters of this magnitude, and floyd has noit been willing to budge, and that is the reason this fight has not been signed.
Both have had there isssues through negotiations, but Floyd is the one not willing to compromise. Thats what makes me question how much he really wants this fight. Floyd is also the one with the history of making negotiations impossible and not making some of the fights the public wants not pacquiao, so don't act like this isn't true.
My issue as i have already said is Floyd went into negotiations for this second fight, knowing there was a possibility of not having Roger you have to acknowlrdge that, and instead of saying this from the beginning how much time has been wasted. A couple months at least, once again you have to acknowledge that. it's not hate, these are facts.

The trial is at August? A good defense lawyer can stretch the trial.
And even if he is found guilty, the sentencing can be also delayed.
I think Roger will make it by November for the fight. Training schedules would be another story though, I can see the court dates interferring with training unless they work around it.
I'm not saying I like it. But if it were reversed, no one would be calling for Pacquiao to fight without Roach.
And don't act like Mayweather's team is the only one that has changed it's stance on things throughout negotiations.

put it in the contract:
PAC to be trained by Buboy
PBF to be trained by Ellerbee
lets just get this muthafukkin fight done already :grr:
I'm with you, Mak. Getting sick of hearing all this shit. Time to just make the shit happen.
Floyd new this was a possibility going into the negotiations, so i don't wanna hear this now. If this were the case he should have sdaid this from the beginning instead of wasting everyones time.
First it was the split, than it weass testing, than take a year off to spend more time with charity, now because of Roger.
If this were the case he should have said this all from the beginnig, this was always a possibility from the beginning thats the problem with this

Exactly. I can't believe people are seriously suggesting that Floyd should fight without his trainer, but Manny shouldn't.

so its ok for pac to fight, without freddy??
I mean why not, he IS figher of the DECADE right? so if floyd can do it pac should be able to
If he had no one it would be more understandable, but having his father for one fight is a suitable sub. He doesn't rely on Roger that much as i said Roger doesn't even advise him during a fight and his father is more than capable to train him for one fight.
Also, had Floyd already noit been talking about not fighting for the rest of the year prior to this it would be different, don't come back with this now and try and use it as an excuse. First it was to spend more time with his charity and the kids now this. Thats weak. If Pac was doing the same saying he was gonna take the rest olf the year off for one reason and than trying to justify it with another reason, i would blame him.
Pac isn't the subject here so why must you try and divert it to him with a hypothetical situation. Stick to the subject.
i just wanna see the fight and getting sick of all the bullsh*t and excuses. If Floyd doesn't want the fight than he should just say it so everyone can move on.
It might be troublesome considering that recent remark from Roger stating that he was the guy who prepared Mayweather for southpaws and Floyd Snr didn't know how to... but I think all in all it wouldn't effect Floyd Jnr enough to warrant postponing the fight for like 6 months or whatever.
