The David Haye camp has stated that Haye does want to fight Wladimir, but they cannot accept certain “financial details.” What are those details? “The offer was 50%/50%, no options,” Wladimir Klitschko advisor Shelly Finkel confirmed to *********.com. Finkel added that he hasn’t heard from David Haye’s manager Adam Booth in three weeks after initially speaking to him half-a-dozen times.
It seems the main hang-up was that the Haye camp wanted to keep 100% of the UK TV revenue and give Wladimir 100% of the German TV revenue. The Klitschko Camp wanted to put all the TV money in one pot and split it 50/50%, which they consider more than fair since Wladimir would be risking three belts to Haye’s one, and Wlad is widely considered to be the world’s true heavyweight champion.
Wladimir will now defend his belts against Alexander Povetkin on September 11 in Frankfurt, Germany, while Haye is expected to face Audley Harrison in an all-British affair in November.

Haye won't do it no matter what
his bluff been called
he wants none of either Klit
now he has paper belt to milk
lesser opponents to fight with less risk
would like Adamek-Haye fight though
Maybe Haye should get into the whole youtube bullshit like Wlad started.
If Haye wasn't hiding in a cave with Adam Booth and Elton John Wlad might be able to get close enough to Haye to make him cower in fear for everyone to see.
Only an imbecile would actually support a scenario in which Haye would make more money than Klitschko for this fight.
As long as people look at it that way the fight will never happen.
I will leave it at that.
In the same token only an imbecile would say that Haye is FORCING the fans to order the fight.
And, good job at cutting the post...
Ignoring where I said Wlad has every right to ask for 50-50. And, that is a fair offer. But, I also can see Haye point of saying you keep the Germany TV rights and I will keep the U.K rights. I can see where Haye is coming from in that sense.
Again is not Haye fault that Wlad won't put it on PPV in Germany. Is nothing wrong with saying I do whatever I want with the U.K TV rights. And, you do whatever you want in Germany rights. That means Wlad has the choice to put it on Germany PPV like Haye would do with U.K or put it on free TV. His choice is not like Haye will FORCE him to put on free TV.
Again I think both Wlad and Haye proposal are fair. In this ONE issue, not on everything. But, this ONE issue I can see both sides point of view.
You can tell that David Haye fans are even bigger fagg*ts than Haye himself because they consider it a moral victory everytime Haye finds a reason to duck the fight.
Call me crazy but if Wlad has 3 belts & Haye only 1 & Wlad is willing to split 50/50 straight down the pipe, then I really don't see why he wouldn't do it!!Wlad has more belts & in reality would deserve more period!!
What? Force? What? Is Haye going to go to peoples house and put a gun to their heard and make them order it? Nobody is being forced to do anything.
Only an imbecile would actually support a scenario in which Haye would make more money than Klitschko for this fight.
And yes Haye is forcing it because Klitschko would prefer it to be free to English fans, therefore he is doing something against the wishes of the other parties involved for his own personal gain and giving nobody else a choice in the matter. Haye does not own the UK. This is the definition of forcing a PPV on a group of people.
As long as people look at it that way the fight will never happen.

damn, if I'm haye i don't like this deal either.
If you're Haye you're 5 inches up Adam Booth's ass and pulling out and doing exercise, much less fighting, probably sounds unbearable at any price.
Nope.
Haye will make it a PPV and force UK fight fans to pay $30 to see it though whereas Klitschko's fight will be free for everyone in Germany, just like it always is, just like they always were in the USA.
If you are gonna force people to PPV a Klitschko fight it only makes sense that they get a share of the PPV revenue.
What? Force? What? Is Haye going to go to peoples house and put a gun to their heard and make them order it? Nobody is being forced to do anything.
When I order a PPV, I don't care how great or shitty the PPV was. Nobody force me to buy it. I ordered it on my own will. Nobody forced me to do shit. So using the word force is just hyperbole from your part. Lets cut that shit out.
Wlad not making it a PPV in Germany sounds like a personal problem to me. Haye making it a PVV in the U.K sounds like business to me.
I have no problem if Wlad wants part the U.K revenue. That is very understandable on his part. But, Ialso understand Haye point in saying keep your Germany rights and I keep my U.K rights. Is not Haye fault that Wlad doesn't wanted to be PPV in Germany.
50-50 IMO sounds fair. But, I can see Haye wanting to keep the U.K rights that is all I am saying. And, I think Haye proposal of I keep U.K rights and you keep Germany rights is fair also.
Floyd got millions of dollars in HBO and PPV revenue genius.
Wlad isn't going to charge German people to watch this fight, but Haye will make all the sorry sap Brits pay $30 or more to see his ass KO'd.
It's only appropriate that Wlad would get a share of any PPV revenue stream when he would otherwise prefer the fight to be free for all the fans of the world.
damn, if I'm haye i don't like this deal either.
that's the only explanation why haye wouldn't want a piece of the german TV rights no?
Haye will make it a PPV in the UK whereas the fight will be on public television in Germany.
Surely you can see the difference in profitability when one person in charging fans $30 to watch the fight and the other is charging them nothing.
I agree with Haye.
Floyd took zero of the UK TV revenue when he fought Hatton. Wladimir wants the income from the UK when he barely is known there

Is there more money in the UK Television rights than the Germany television rights?
I guess so...

In other words, Haye, once again, does not want the fight. It's that simple. I can't see any other reason, because there's always been some excuse or another. If it's not an injury, its a slave contract, or a TV rights, or Harrison.

is the UK TV revenue reallly that much better than the german TV revenue?
