I hate to say it as I am a diehard boxing fan, but being at local bars and observing what people are more interested in I think MMA is killing boxing in America. Boxing is not marketing its fighters and there are so many MMA fighters who are so much more popular than boxers. The last thread I made I got ripped on for making it, while I have seen one hundred garbage threads about Pacquiao vs. Mayweather that stated nothing. Besides Pacquiao vs. Mayweather boxing is not shit. MMA is for sure competition for Boxing they are both tangled in the PPV business.

Yeah lol I am just so frustrated in boxing because I can only imagine if it was run correctly I honestly think it would be the biggest sport in the world. But they have to stop just relying on these 2 big fights a year and start stacking undercards and catering to the fans. only in america... where nfl and nba own too.

Boxing superfights blow anything MMA has to offer out of the water but there are only like two of those a year and then the mainstream does not care about boxing.
