Sosa, Barkley, Nunn, Williams, Jirov and Holyfield.
All of them are were very good performences for different reasons. But if I had to reccommed one fight I would go with Barkley, That fight shows he was an excellent a fighter when he was really on point.
Barkley win is a tad overrated because pretty much every world class guy not named Hearns beat Barkley. McCallum (all three) are MUST SEE. Their first is a GREAT Middleweight fight.
I'd also say see Thadzi, Tiberi, and Jones. It's important to see Toney when he crapped the bed too...watching just the good stuff obscures his fatal flaws. Need those for the full picture. Plus, Tiberi is one of the worst decisions of the 90s.
Hey, do you think I can download these fights in a Megaupload package?
In a package? Not that I know of.
I'm sure you'll find some of his fights in the video forum though.

just watched that one, yup it was an awesome display of hand speed and power from toney... i was cracking up cause if you listen to goerge foremans commentary, even that many years later after the ali fight he still hadnt figured out the rope a dope scheme!!!
Already posted earlier but only packaged with other opponents; so let me dissect it for you: Watch how a young, undefeated Toney continues to stalk an undefeated Michael '2nd To' Nunn (having been outboxed for 7 rds easy) and then you see the brilliance of James Toney. Now if you want a Saw V performance, just watch James T vs Iran Barkley. Okay I'm done!
I sometimes wonder if some of the greatest fighters that ever lived could've beaten Toney on his best night. And I'm saying that as somebody who is not even a big fan of Toney. I know he lost to Griffin twice, but if you look at his resume it's like a who's who of monsters. I think the fab four would've all lost to him possibly.
Sometimes I wonder the same thing. Well, not really but I know what you mean. James Toney is the quintessential, midwestern throwback fighter. Such a beautiful, beautiful boxer. Could do everything in the ring. He may be the only fighter Freddie Roach has ever had that knew more about boxing than he did.

Thanks again JK.
Will download those fights. :fing02:
No problem. Another good fight was with Reggie Johnson because he got dropped in the 2nd round and came back to win. I'm not sure whether you'll be able to find that one though, It's pretty rare and the last time I checked the links were dead but don't let that stop you from trying.
Send me that Green K already :)
